Fantastic stay in Fès
Pros: We felt incredibly welcomed during our stay, thanks to the warm hospitality of Mr. Ali and Ahmed. They went out of their way to help us in many ways, and their friendliness and honesty truly stood out. The apartment is in a fantastic location just steps away from the two most popular streets of the old medina, and very close to the city's stunning gardens. It’s the perfect spot to explore, unwind, and soak in the beauty and charm of the surroundings. Highly recommended!

Adorable
Pros: Very nice studio at the entrance to the Medina. My second time here and it’s definitely my beloved spot in town. Secluded though central, with relaxing terrace. The owner Mr Ali is also very adorable and always around to help.

Excellent location, nice views, helpful host
Pros: The apartment was very well located. Bab Boujloud which is the main entrance to the Medina is literally just two minutes away. This means you’re in the center of the action but can easily be dropped off, get taxis etc. This could have the disadvantage of noise though. The apartment is very nicely furnished. Quite stylish with Arabic designs and tiled floors. The host was very helpful and in particular helped us organize drivers for two days with professional chauffeurs (Volubilis and Moulay Idriss / Chefchaouen). The terrace was very nice. Particularly for evening drinks, aperitifs, and having breakfast in the morning, which we purchased nearby. The view of Bab Boujloud from the terrace is just like in the pictures.
Cons: It took a while for the shower to warm up. It's obviously on a long pipe. The apartment lacked a few basic items, such as a lighter needed for the gas stove, and some cutlery. In terms of the disadvantages, as always with Medina hotels, there can be a problem with noise from the street at night. Although this is variable we had two nights (out of a week) where a man caused disturbance in the middle of the night. Moroccan neighbors also seemed disturbed by this. I gave a lower mark of comfort for this reason.
