Pros: Very spacious, huge apartment, close to the suk, yet in a quiet location. The owners speak excellent English and are very helpful.

Pros: We really liked how spacious the apartment was. The decor was fabulous and the family very friendly.

Cons: It was a little difficult to find, but the neighbours all leant a hand and we were able to communicate with Fassia via whatsapp

Pros: Beautiful apartment which really gives you the vibe of staying with a Moroccan family. Breakfast was really good, they bring it around 9 in your Livingroom. Location is also really nice, just at the edge of the Medina which is a 15 minute walk. The hosts live upstairs and are really nice and helpful.

Cons: There is only one airco for the whole apartment, we personally have no problem with it. But it is good to know that the house can be a bit warm.

Immersive stay in traditional neighbourhood

Pros: Our stay exceeded all expectations! The apartment is one of three in a traditional house in the medina of Fes, in a nice, safe middle class neighbourhood. The owner Maryam lives with her lovely family on the top floor. Maryam looked after us so well, she is a great cook and henna artist. The children speak English well and can translate. The apartment has a beautiful Moroccan salon and lots of space. It is clean. Thank you again, Maryam!

Pros: Very authentic and cosy apartment in middle of old city. Best hospitality in Fes. Landlady welcome us with smile. It's like heaven in earth. We enjoyed staying.

It was lovely and we enjoyed Fes

Pros: The property is as the photos with lovely decor and furnishings. It’s on the first floor and very spacious. Host was extremely helpful and his family were lovely. It’s about 20 minutes walk to the Medina. Somethings could do with upgrading, once done it will be even better.

Très bon souvenir de Fes

Pros: La surface de la maison est super grande. Les personnes sont très accueillant et la qualité de petit-déjeuner non inclus dans le prix est super.

Cons: Je pense que la propriétaire peut indiquer dans son annonce que l'endroit à descendre pour trouver plus facile le logement est Bab Ziat. Nous avons descendu dans un endroit qui nous fait perdre pas mal de temps pour le trouver parce que le google map ne marche pas bien dans ce endroit.

Pros: Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt, vielen Dank!! Als wir abends ankamen und noch auf das Zimmer warten mussten, haben wir zur Überbrückung Tee und Gebäck im Wohnzimmer der Familie bekommen. Im Winter kann es recht kühl werden und die Klimaanlage kann natürlich nicht alle Räumlichkeiten schnell aufheizen, aber wenn man Jacken dabei hat kein Problem. Im großen Bad hat der Duschabfluss nicht gut funktioniert, aber es gab eine weitere Dusche. Die Wohnung ist toll eingerichtet und alle sind herzlich und nett :-)

Gewéldig. De locatie én Fes

Pros: Het authentieke van de riad. Eigenlijk ben je op bezoek bij een familie en woon je tussen hen in. Het versterkt het gevoel van in Marokko zijn. Het appartement is ontzettend ruim. Met 5 minuten lopen zit je in de winkelstraatjes van de medina.

Cons: Het viel niet tegen, maar het is wel iets om rekening mee te houden. Riad Fassia is alleen te voet bereikbaar. Daar komt bij dat Fes best heuvelachtig is, dus je moet soms klimmen. In de riad heb je de binnentuin, waardoor de woonlagen met elkaar verbonden zijn. Wij konden onze onderburen dus horen en soms zelfs zien. Dat droeg voor ons alleen maar bij aan de authenticiteit, maar niet als je behoeft hebt aan rust.
