Maison D'hôtes Dar Afra

Pros: Very nice place to stay in the Ait Boukmez. The owners were super helpful and hospitable, we felt very welcomed! The breakfast and the food we got was amazing and we were equipped with a heater in the room and a fireplace in the dining room which was really nice in the cold evenings. The surroundings are beautiful for hikes as well! Would absolutely recommend!

Pros: Amazing food, views and host. Delicious breakfast and tasty dinner. The best tagine in all Maroco. Good starting point for trekking in Atlas.

A memorable stay

Pros: We were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality - our 3 nights at Dar Afra were a highlight of our stay in Morocco. This is a traditional-style house in a stunning location, and Abdullah and Abdul went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The food was delicious (and plentiful!). Abdullah made sure we had everything we needed and arranged our onward travel. Abdul took us out for really enjoyable and interesting day walks (with his family donkey).

Once in a lifetime stay in a Berber mountain village - not to miss!

Pros: We loved everything about our stay at the Maison D’hôtes Dar Afra. The place is perfectly located in the valley next to apple tree plantations and offers endless opportunities for day hikes. The food, scenery and hospitality were amazing - to the point where we ended up staying much longer than originally planned. Abdullah was the perfect host and guide, and introduced us to the culture and language of the Berber people. We hope to be back one day. ❤️

Wonderful Guesthouse

Pros: Wonderful guesthouse with beautiful rooms and garden, nice food and very friendly and kind staff. We can only recommend staying at Dar Afra for a relaxing stay in Ait Bougmez. Additionally, Abdou will provide you with everything you need to know about the surrounding mountain ranges.

A pristine location in the peaceful Ait Boughemez with wonderful staff and food

Pros: The property and landscape were beautiful. The staff were kind and cooked the freshest and best meals. The bed was comfortable and we slept like babies. We will never forget our stay at Dar Afra and thank Abdoullah and all the team for their warmth and hospitality.

Cons: There is nothing I can say that I didn’t like

haven of peace

Pros: Our host was the kindest man. He served us mint tea every time we came back to the house plus at meal times and in the afternoon in the garden. The meals were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastisch

Pros: We hadden een uur van te voren geboekt en konden meteen terecht voor een heerlijk drie gangen diner. Ook het ontbijt was uitgebreid en uitstekend verzorgd. Het was fris in de avond en nacht en kregen de kachel aangestoken.

Pros: Maison marocaine toute simple, avec beaucoup de cachet, calme et confortable. La chambre était spacieuse. L'accueil a été absolument charmant avec un personnel souriant et prévenant. La cuisine était excellente.
