Camp Ayour Mhamid

Pros: Cozy stay near Mhamid, we arrived by our small rental car - bit of a bumpy ride so be prepared for that. Really peaceful, beautiful sunset and great breakfast

Cons: Toilet could have been cleaner. Other guests arrived real late which woke us up due to the noise from the car

Pros: The camp is beautiful, loved the location, the rooms are big and the bed super comfortable. All the staff is just very kind, polite and helpful, we decided last minute to book a day tour in the desert and they have been able to organise everything and we spent an amazing day. We had breakfast and dinner at the camp and both were delicious

Perfect place to reset your nervous system

Pros: If you’re looking for a place to reset your nervous system, find peace, and return to a slower way of living, this is the perfect retreat. Waking up surrounded by dunes and being able to take long, quiet walks was pure magic. I learned so much about nomadic culture thanks to Brahim and Salah, attentive, funny, and incredibly welcoming hosts. Mohamed spoiled us with his delicious tajines, and everyone created unforgettable nights filled with music around the fire under a sky full of shooting stars. I ended up extending my stay. This place healed my soul. It will stay in my heart forever.

Edge of the Sahara

Pros: The welcoming, helpful staff. The large, atmospheric dining room. The food. The large, shaded, social seating area Brahim, the host, was extremely accommodating, funny and helpful. He organised a trip for us further into Erg Chegagga, including 4wd transport to a tented camp with great facilities, a sunset camel ride and 4wd return journey. We asked him about this on our arrival in the evening and it was all organised for us in time for the next morning.

Cons: Upon arrival, the bungalows were initially very hot inside from the heat of the sun. They did cool down overnight though.

Pros: It has been a great experience. Brahim is really kind and funny. We loved the puppy and cats.

Pros: The accommodation is in a very nice, calm location with dunes around and the interior is beautiful. The hosts were very helpful. Brahim also took us on a trip to the desert - a really nice trip, with a stop for food and then a stop at a desert camp surrounded by high dunes.

Best place in Marocco

Pros: we arrived just for one night initiialy. but than decided to stay one more. Super cool place located just near the dunes. Hosts were very friendly, they doing a perfect job. It was a pleasure to meet you. We regret to not go with you deeper to chigaga but were a bit in rush with our tri this time.. But for sure we would like to come back. Thanks!

Pros: No fake touristic attraction, this is the proper way of living of Berber nomad people, now welcoming guests. The bivouac It's stunning, the position in the dunes but still close to the village, you can sleap outside the bungalow under the stars, with the best sunrise and sunset and walk straight in the desert! The breakfast and tea is top with local products cooked, the hospitality is the best

Pros: Booked for 1 night eventually spend 3. Super calm and special place. Brahim is a great host. Food is super good and the huts were warm and comfy to sleep in

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: One of the best bivouacs in M'hamid. Brahim and his brother are excellent hosts! Highly recommend this place!
