Ourika lodge the healing place

Pros: Karim and his wife were excellent hosts for me and my two year old daughter - during our stay we enjoyed several wonderful hikes and a great cooking class. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast, lunch and dinner were all exceptional. Karim went out of his way to look after us and tailor the stay to our needs - we look forward to returning!

Pros: Karim is a lovely caring host and his wife is the most amazing cook. Nothing was too much trouble. The guided walks were truly amazing. Thanks you.

Cons: Unfortunately we arrived during an unseasonably cold spell. 10 degrees colder than the average temperature. We expected cold nights and the daytime was perfect for hiking. However, the lack of heating in the communal and dining areas was difficult. Fortunately Karim provided an oil filled radiator for our room so we kept our bedroom warm after the first night. He tried his best with fire but it was only sufficient to huddle round. If it had been warmer we would have given 10/10

The most wonderful place I have been to in Morocco.

Pros: We had a magical couple of days at Ourika Lodge. Abdelkarim and his family looked after us with such kindness and care. The food was the best we had in Morocco, each day beautifully presented on the rooftop terrace overlooking the valley. They even brought a surprise cake to celebrate my partner's birthday. Abdelkarim took us on a brilliant hike right out into the mountains. He was such easy company and his local knowledge is invaluable. I cannot recommend more highly for an authentic experience of real Morocco.

Pros: we were treated like kings by Ali and brother. dinner on the terrace with the marrakesh lights in the far background. great breakfast, great conversation.

Cons: hard to find, and the access road. impossible,to,do on a touring bike and no parking near the hotel.

Pros: Karim est un hôte exceptionnel. Nos échanges avec lui étaient incroyables et très enrichissants. On ne se lasse pas de l écouter... toujours présent pour faire de notre séjour dans la vallée de l ourika un moment inoubliable. Son dîner était le meilleur de tout notre séjour au Maroc. Nous ferons tout avec notre famille pour revenir le voir.... merci beaucoup Karim pour tout

Pros: The healing Place ist eine wirklich schöne und saubere Unterkunft in toller Lage mit Blick auf Ourika und das Atlas-Gebirge. Unser Gastgeber Karim hat unseren Aufenthalt hier zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Er ist einer der herzlichsten Menschen, die mir je begegnet sind. Am Abend unserer Ankunft gegen 21 Uhr hat er uns mit Tee und einer traditionellen Harira-Suppe empfangen und uns über sich und die Region erzählt. Er ist unter anderem zugelassener Bergführer und bietet Touren auf den höchsten Berg Nordafrikas, der in der nähe liegt. Ich kann nur wärmstens empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu buchen, wenn man die Region erkunden möchte. Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort.
