Auberge Hostel Traditionnel

Pros: There were 3 people who welcomed us when we arrived, they were kind offering us tea and making sure we felt comfortable. The shower and toilet were spotlessly clean. The location is easy to find.

Cons: When we arrived there was a discrepancy. In the hotel there is a blackboard with a price - 10 euro per person. Considering that this is the last hotel before Tinghir if driving from tge north this is somewhat fair, since it's impossible to drive through the valley if it's raining. I had a bunch of booking discounts applyed and I booked the stay beforehand for 14,26 Euro for 4 people with breakfast. When we arrived the oldest of the 3 gentlemen proposed that we pay 30 MAD per person for breakfast, in the end he went back on that and we would've had breakfast for the agreed before price (free) but we had to leave early. We we were offered tea nonetheless, it was kind. The 2/4 bedsheets were cleaned but they had some old stains. They were washed and I was ok with them but my girlfriend didn't feel comfortable with them.

Authentic, very quiet place very practical for bikers

Pros: We loved the place, its traditional look and colours. It's really clean and tidy. There's a great lounge/dining room and terrace, place to park your cars and WiFi. The hosts were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The dinner prepared by the host was delicious and the breakfasts included in the price really generous and very tasty. Jaouad is very keen to share his knowledge about local culture and to give advice about places worth a visit. We loved the place so much that we changed our plans and stayed one extra night. Jaouad also offers guide services - we went together on a road trip to Dades Valley and for a circular Todra Gorge hike. He also helped us, by using his contacts, with organising a camp on Sahara Desert.

Pros: The staff were super welcoming and friendly, they really made us feel at home. Since the first moment we enter the place we never felt like customers. Showers à toilets were clean, beds were warm and comfy, food was delicious and the views amazing.

Pros: Charming place in Berberland The auberge: nice berberstyled house, even managed by a berber. The service: warm welcome, kind service 24/7, lovely prepered breakfast, meals and whiskey maroccaine. Laundryservice on demand. Warm shower, heated space for dining and chilling. Jawad, the berber, knows literally everything about the area and answer all questions. The best for me: the talkative cute cat of the house. The place: lovely village with two old kashbas and green fields. Good point to start outings and daytours to places like Todra, Dades, Agoudal or even Imilchil. Gladly come back, inchallah! Bismallah!

Very nice place and people

Pros: Our stay was very good. The people in charge of the facilities are a very friendly, respectful, kind and hard-working local family. The beds were comfortable and the shower had hot water. They gave us extra blankets for the cold since we went in the middle of winter and we slept very well. The environment is very beautiful for hiking and climbing. Everything very good.

Pros: Ibrahim was a very friendly and welcoming host. He cooked dinner for us and gave me useful information. I recommend : )

Pros: Accueil très chaleureux de Larssen et sa femme, qui nous a préparé un excellent tajine

Pros: Jolie auberge au pieds des montagnes et non loin des jardins, dans un village typique de l'atlas.

Cons: La route entre les gorges de Toundra et Tamtatouch rest un peu difficile mais faisable avec la petite voiture.

Pros: Très bon accueil, hôte très accueillant c'était le père de Jawad, le tajine était excellent et généreux. Fabrication artisanale de tapis berbère par la mère de Jawad .très beaux tapis . À voir !!
