Built into the rocks and cliff edge

Pros: Built into the rocks and cliff face with actual caves as rooms. The restaurant area overlooks the gorge.

Cons: Not right in the main part of the gorge itself and a little too far to walk it. Rooms are also quite far to walk.

Castle in the gorge

Pros: We liked the cave room, although quite a walk to the reception/eating area. Location is quite a way from restaurants etc so you will be eating there probably. Set dinner adequate though dull.

Cons: I tripped and fell on the very hard stone paving, causing considerable damage to my nose and forehead and loads of blood. Fortunately we carry an extensive first aid kit, but the hotel had NOTHING! This is inexcusable for a place that is basically in the middle of nowhere. No signage if arriving from upriver.

Very comfortable and very handy for climbing in Todra gorge

Pros: Cave room was something very different and fun. Layout of hotel and rooms. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Resident cat was very cute too ☺️

Cons: WiFi access was not great. But what can you expect in a cave 🤷‍♀️

Very positive experience at a beautiful location with the nicest people

Pros: Excellent staff. Very friendly owner. We got lost in the mountains. The owner very adequately arranged that we were rescued in the night by very nice and capable Nomad mountain guides. After that experience they prepared a very good three course dinner in the middle of the night.

cool place, but fix the bed sheets

Pros: The site is absolutely amazing. this almost a village of buildings and rooms spread out along the side of the mountain. You literally have a room which is kind of inside a cave. Super cozy, super super cute. The staff, absolutely amazing, would accommodate any request that we had. They're young and fun and really nice.

Cons: I think half the problem is the time of year that we visited. We visited in December, so it was really cold and raining, so we can't blame the site for that. but the big thing that needs changing is the bedsheets. I think there are lots of bed linen, the kind that isn't washed, that's probably reused between guests and the duvet was exposed so there was just a sheet between you and the duvet and then the duvet was on top which personally I really don't like.

Surreal place to stay within an awesome gorge!

Pros: The location of this place is just surreal. Located right in the midst of the gorge. Very peaceful and beautiful, even if in a rough way. Rooms are very comfortable and the staff were very kind and lit us a fire upon our arrival to keep us warm. Food was exceptional and so was the ambience with the Amazigh drumming and singing performance.
