Beautiful Desert Riad

Pros: DAR Morocco Family were the best hosts ever!! A beautiful Riad, decorated with alot of love. Big bedrooms with amazing views of the dunes and the cool waters of the pool. Exploring the desert and the Berbere camps with our host was fantastic.

Exceptional stay, kind and generous hosts and a wonderful location.

Pros: We spent 3 nights at Dar Morocco having travelled from the UK on our motorbike.. it was the most ideal location for the pilot and co-pilot to rest and recovery from our dusty and dramatic journey.. Our welcome was warm and gracious, the staff were kind and attentive, our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. We had a day by the pool and the staff arranged for us to go further into the desert by 4x4 on the other. The food was good and plentiful. Add this to a stunning location, with the hotel set back from the sealed road overlooking a classic dune landscape with sunrise and sunsets to wonder it exceeded all our hopes and expectations. We would love to return and recommend.

Excellent, 6-star service

Pros: Excellent service, arrived on the bus from Fes at 6am. They welcomed me in well in advance of my check-in time. They served me breakfast whilst I waited for my room to be ready and gave me a place to rest and keep my bags safe. They were very helpful during my stay. One night I said I was staying out late to photograph the stars, they knocked on my door later that evening to ensure I was back before locking the main door, very attentive. The manager also gave me a ride to the bus station on the last day of my stay, after giving me a place to wait until the bus departure. Room was clean and spacious, and it's very close to the sand dunes, less than 5 minute walk. My recommendation is to stay here, I will definitely be back.

Great location for dunes

Pros: Fantastic setting with dunes right behind hotel, lovely room with spacious bathroom. Very helpful staff.

Cons: Food was a little disappointing, not really Moroccan, more like budget UK

Pros: We loved our stay at Dar Morocco, the staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Great location to be able to walk across to the dunes and the rooms were very spacious and well designed. I hope we can return some day!

Go there if you get a chance!

Pros: This is a really great place to stay. It’s clean, comfortable, super relaxing, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful if they tried. Erg Chebbi is right behind the hotel. There’s not many places to stay where you can float in a (delightful) pool with such a splendid view. Food was very well prepared and served. Well done team Dar Morocco!!

Perfect stay in Merzouga

Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect and the structure itself was very nice. Quite photogenic with the pool in front of the dunes and nice pool facilities. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We were lucky to get the rooms with the view. The staff were very friendly and kind. Most of them even spoke italian! We all enjoyed our stay!
