Etoile des Gorges

Lovely people, excellent food and superb location.

Pros: Super friendly staff, in particular Magid who was the most welcome host so far. His English is superb and has the best recommendations. The hotel is basic, but has everything you need and is located at the most beautiful spot of the gorges. The breakfast was delicious. Also, the restaurant surprised us with excellent food and cheap prices.

Cons: The rooms are very basic. Our shower was cold to sometimes middle heat, but for us it was not too bad. We enjoy simplicity

Pros: The staff was very nice, especially Majid was really welcoming and helpful! The location is absolutely the best. Right outside of the hotel you can already start climbing.

Pros: Compliments to staff Majid who attended to our requests from the time we arrived to when we left. He adjusted the room temperature to ensure we are warm in the room. He fixed the hot water to ensure we have hot showers. Thank you Majid. The location was excellent. Just at the beginning of the Gorge.

It is perfectly situated at the entrance of the gorge, ideal for climbing, hiking & experiencing the beautiful landscape. The hotel provides everything you need & the staff is very ambitious. Pros: Accomodation is very simple but for one night we used it was good. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is perfect right on the entrance to gorge. Breakfast was really good.

Pros: The hotel is located at the entrance of the gorge. If you are here for climbing this is the best hotel for you. Beatiful location, you can get to all the sectors of the main gorge on foot, there is also the car parking if you need it. The prices are very conveniente and the breakfast is good. It is also a good restaurant, if you dont want to take the car to get to Tinghir or elsewhere for your meals. Staff is kind and helpful

Cons: Sometimes a bit noisy during the night, because of the dogs barking but nothing serious
