Ouednoujoum Ecolodge & Spa

Pros: The superior room was amazing! Stunning views and a lot of space. We really enjoyed our stay at the ecolodge, the staff was great and super helpful! Nice food and activities to do!

Pros: This place was like a paradise from a fantasy fairy tail! In the middle of nowhere - surrounded by massive rocks and stars only that shaped two oasises int he valley and our room had a spectacular view trough the terrace to it. I would stay next time for two nights for the relaxation. It’s not a place to be on rush! Also the service was so friendly and professional! Very very warm people and we totally felt the authenticity of this(I hope so) family hotel. I received a gift bag with their hammam products too! I had am amazing massage that gave me a break from the long traveling sitting position and loaded me with energy for the next adventure! And I almost forgot the amazing cookies with sesame - a compliment left in our room that i could have with the tea :) and btw the stars were brighter than in Merzouga after.

Pros: Everything was amazing! The best accommodation ever! Excellent, secluded location with stunning views of nature around. Helpful and kind staff, they gave us the best apartment possible and made our stay so special and offered us so so much. The staff (the receptionist and one of the waiter) had a fantastic approach to our toddler girl and made her feel like a princess. We had a welcome tea and welcome evening with a drumming session. Food was very good and breakfasts were outstanding, so yummy and filling. No need to worry about lack of food or water! Facilities very good. A beautiful eco lodge with traditional, ethnic and beautiful arrangments. Lots of shadow places to hide from the strong sun. Swimming pool with clean water and sunbeds. We were offered an evening walk with a staff member showing us around. They also taught us how to make tagine 😊 Great experience, we really loved every single moment being there ❤️

Peaceful

Pros: This is a wonderful accommodation if you like to be in a peaceful and quiet place. Everything is wel arranged, the beds are super comfortable and the staff is super friendly. The home made harrira was probably one of the best I ever ate!

Cons: Take into account that the accommodation can only be reached by a gravel road of three kilometres!

An oasis of relaxation.

Pros: The staff are wonderful, amazing surroundings and lovely rooms. The food is really high quality and they are so obviously passionate about what they do. It’s the ultimate place to disconnect from modern life.

Pros: The suite was spacious and beautiful. The location is beautiful, yet a bit hard to reach due to road conditions. Breakfast was nice as well.

Cons: Extras are overpriced. We had the most expensive dinner of our trip (20€ per person, drinks excluded), tasted good. Spa treatments are overpriced compared to what you get in other places (35€ for 30 minutes only massage + 40€ Hammam). We got offered a reduced price but we ended up not booking anything.

Pros: A serene spot we didn't expect to find after a long journey by car, the scenery was beyond our imagination. The staff is extremely lovely and welcoming and our room was very comfortable, as well as the other facilities like the pool and the several other lounging spots. It's a real retreat spot, very peaceful, so be ready to let go of your phone and the fact that the wifi is not always reliable and you won't have much signal on your mobile - which we personally didn't mind.

Cons: That we couldn't stay longer :) Also, it's a bumpy road down to the hotel, which is not a real problem if you have an adequate car, but you have to drive slowly.

The magic of an oasis amidst the most peaceful setting.

Pros: The location of the property is unlike anything else. The inviting aura of the oasis combined with the deep warmth the hotel staff offer is magical. We were invited to explore the oasis and Reda the manager patiently guided us through before we reached a stunning vista and shared a Moroccan tea. Reda, and the entirety of the team are incredibly kind and they will be sure to make your stay something to remember. This was my second time at Ouednoujoum and it certainly won’t be the last.

Cons: It’s a bit out of the way from everything else so I can understand how the remoteness may be an issue for some. However, I cannot say I didn’t like it for that as the remoteness was a large contribution to what made the place so special.

Pros: Awesome staff, everyone always happy to help, very good energy.

Cons: The AC in our room was not blowing fresh air and it was very difficult to sleep

This place is amazing for a quiet getaway, with great hospitality and great food.

Pros: This is a lovely getaway spot. The lodge is in a very remote location, next to an oasis, perfect for relaxation. You can see plenty of stars at night. The hospitality is great, Reda and the staff were amazing, very welcoming and provided so many recommendations. The breakfast and dinner were all great and tasty.

Cons: Make sure to request a pick-up to the location as taxis do not drive out there. If you don't have a car, you will rely on the staff for going in/out of the lodge to the town.
