Great place to stay and good people

Pros: The camp is a really nice . The facilities are great and its perfect to stay 1 or 2 nights. All the staff was really friendly and helpful, amongst others, we were served by Ali, who was always working with a smile.

Pros: The best experience ever! I loved riding camels and moving between the sand dunes, and watching the sunrise was magical. The food was very delicious, and the organizers were extremely professional. I recommend this place to all nature and adventure lovers.

Pros: Amazing camp in the Middle of the erg. The camp was really luxurious and the staff was really helpful. I really liked the live music in the evening as well as quad experience (we got to see desert fox)

Pros: The best desert experience ever. These lads good great care of us. Very well organised - ideal for a romantic getaway - stay for 2 nights that’s perfect time. Value for money is outstanding Go for ATV rides there . Well worth it

Great stay in the camp, avoid the 4x4 tour

Pros: Great stay in the camp, the team was very careful and attentive to all your needs: Great tents, extremely clean, great food and experience in the camp overall.

Cons: What we wouldn’t do again is definitely the 4x4 tour ride. While being in the Sahara dessert, we assumed this would be a ride through the sand dunes (our fault). In practice, this was a so-called ‘cultural ride’, taking you from one place to the other, encouraging you to tip all kinds of orchestrated visits and buy things in general. At some point we were even driving on the main road in Merzouga. We tried to communicate to the driver that we would rather have a short drive through the dunes rather than doing the 4h cultural circuit, yet there was no space for understanding. (We ended up doing a 2h tour since both parts understood there was no common ground - we shared little interest in buying things, while the driver didn’t understand our curiosity for the sand dunes). We know we are guilty for having expected something else, but the guilt is also shared by the team since they haven’t made clear what the ride consists of (after checking more 4x4 ride options on booking, it seems that all camps offer the same circuit). A pricy 2h & 100EUR lesson. Also, if you’re for the first time in Sahara and expect infinite dunes, please be aware that the dunes are only a thin stripe. The rest is called black desert, a flat surface with sand and stones.
