Pros: Tour (half day) was guided by the enthusiastic gentleman, willing to share all local culture, life, history, very recommended if staying for over 1 night. Clean water and hot water in the room.
Cons: Drinking in dinner (no free tea) was not included.

Pros: The tent was very spacious and beautifully decorated inside, the shower worked well. It was very cold at night in February but there were plenty of warm blankets. Staff were friendly and spoke good english.
Cons: The extra charge to get to the camp from Merzouga is not mentioned in the reservation. We used camels so it felt a bit more worth-while. But if we did not use them, the charge would be the same using 4x4 - which is unreasonable - 25 EUR per person, so for a family of 3 this fee almost doubled the total accommodation cost.

An unforgettable desert experience!
Pros: The desert experience was amazing! Seeing the dunes at sunrise was unforgettable. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Food was excellent!
Cons: It was extremely hot in the rooms, even in June. The rooms had no fans and it was not possible to keep the windows open in the afternoon/evening due to strong winds (too much dust & sand).

Height of luxury
Pros: This camp was the height of luxury, and a good distance into the desert area (15 minutes or so by jeep), which is what I wanted. The exterior spaces, as well as our tent and the dining tent, were beautiful. We were three adults in a suite tent - there was a double bed and two single beds. The bathroom had a large shower, with the shower, basin, and toilet being separate, allowing concurrent use and ensuring privacy. The beds were super comfortable. Breakfasts were full Moroccan breakfasts, and dinners were fabulous - traditional Moroccan cuisine on both nights of our stay, with several courses including salads, bread, soup, tagine, fried chicken, and dessert. Tea on arrival at the camp in the evenings was very generous, with nuts and biscuits included. There was live music around the fire after dinner. We received excellent service from Yusuf. Note that jeep transfer is 20 euros per person one-way, between the camp and the meeting point/lodge.
Cons: The shower was cold or luke warm at best, at times. Two out of six showers were hot. There were USB ports in the tent, but no plug points.

Amazing trip
Pros: It was a great experience! A tent was spacious and clean with large and comfortable beds and food was delicious. We enjoyed quad and camel riding. Our 6 years old son enjoyed sand boarding and exploring the camp. Staff from the camp was so attentive and playful with children. I must say that I haven't visited a country before where the people are so welcoming, friendly and devoted to children. Special shout-out to Hamza and Ali! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Great place to stay in the desert, with all facilities like in a proper hotel, & yet, in the desert!
Pros: All facilities were there, very well thought of, despite the hardness of the location (desert). Staff were very helpful and willing to help, dinner was very tasteful and atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Breakfast was also very good and transfer to and from the location was a great experience too. Parking place to park our car at the village of Merzouga was also at a safe place.
Cons: Nothing to report here

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at the Desert Heart Luxury Camp. The tent was comfortable, dinner was delicious (especially the eggplant tagine), and the campfire music performances were also very enjoyable. They taught us some traditional Berber rhythms and let us try them out on their drums. Aziz and Mohammed were both very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We enjoyed our 4x4 tour and the sunset camel ride. Aziz is a fantastic guide and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the sceneries. He was very knowledgeable about Morocco and Berber cultures. Mohammed and the rest of the team really made us feel at home in the desert.
