One of the best stays we've ever had. Would go back in a heartbeat.
Pros: The most amazing and kind family run and own the Riad. Saed and Ibrahim made us feel at home as soon as arrived having tea with them, and then having dinner by the fire. Yassine and the rest of the family were always more than generous with their time, taking us for walks out to the desert to watch the stars at night and explore the Wazi's during the day. Hospitality was 10/10, the room and beds 10/10, and just the overall feel in the Riad 10/10. We are already thinking about coming back and visiting again with family sometime in the future. Couldn't recommend this place more when exploring the Sahara.

Pros: We had a great stay for 4 nights in a nice double room with a great view of the dunes from the terrace. The dinner we had was absolutely delicious as well as a good breakfast everyday. The staff were very welcoming & obliging. Many thanks to them all especially Ibriham for organising our day trip & transport. Excellent stay for us.

Great stay close to the dunes
Pros: We loved our stay at Maison Hassan Merzouga! The staff was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was great - we enjoyed delicious local dishes for both breakfast and dinner.

Amazing stay; friendly staff, very clean, calm, great food!
Pros: We had a one night stay after arriving from Marrakesh. Next day we would leave for a night in the desert. Arrival was uncomplicated, easy to find (dirt roads). We were welcomed with tea and snacks. There were no other guests during our stay so it was all quiet. There is a nice inner court that provides both sun and shadows and allows you to relax in front of your room. The room we had was great, huge bed, working shower with warm water - all good. We had asked for the standard dinner menu (150 dh) and it was 1) delicious and 2) waaaaay too much. We had to leave some food unfortunately. Also, they helped us book a quad trip in the desert on the next day. Easy and from a price perspecitve OK I would say. Would definitely recommend Maison Hassan!
Cons: Nothing really. The only thing, but not the fault of the accomodation, is that other thatn desert-related activities, there is not much to do in the area.

Perfect hosts and a wonderful guesthouse
Pros: Wonderful hosts, Ibrahim and the whole team are so so kind and welcoming. It felt like staying with friends. Nothing was too much trouble. The beds were very comfortable, showers were hot and good pressure. The rooms were very warm with the heaters (we stayed in January) Ibrahim organised different activities for us which meant we didn’t have to deal with anything. An amazing stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to everyone.
Cons: Nothing! Everything was amazing!

Beautiful place and stay!
Pros: Very clean, new and comfortable beds and sheets, lots of fresh towels, amazing style, lots of space, great views, save and calm neighborhood, free parking in front of the house or in the yard
Cons: Mosquito nets in front of the windows and over the beds are a MUST because the flies are going to make you crazy!!! Yes, they are everywhere and can not be avoided but what can be avoided is that they land on your eyeballs, in your nose or mouth whenever they get the chance
