Hotel Riad Le Petit Prince

Pros: Wonderful Riad with a perfect location, right by the dunes. The back door opens directly onto the dunes of Sahara. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They organize 4WD tours to the dunes with cultural stops. The food was delicious. They serve an amazing traditional dinner. We had a great experience here.

Pros: Great location, next to the dunes and the center. Great staff and facilities. Rocommended.

Pros: Our general stay was really good. All the staff are very attentive and caring. The included breakfast is very complete and the food served at dinner is beautifuly prepared. Everything was clean and taken care of. Out of back yard, you reach directly to dunes which is great and they have a beaiutuful big roof top either to enjoy with drinks during evening. They make you feel really comfortable and not feeling as a guest even. Here is good place to be and for sure next time either 👌🏻

Good stay if you want to see dunes, not touts.

Pros: The best of this riad is its location next to dunes and far away from all touts. The room and whole riad is pretty nice, but simple, old and with basic standards. Water was hot (not that common in Morocco), there was air conditioning with heating to warm up the room. We had dinner for 10EUR, which was very typical tajin (decent). Small parking in front and larger camp site for campers/bikes in the back. Overall OK.

Cons: Dining room was quite cold, but should I expect anything different in December? If you want to go to the biggest dunes, there are quite far away from this riad.

Pros: Very friendly and kind hosts. Good and reasonable negotiators. Hotel backyard is right in the desert dunes.

Cons: The road to get there is 100m with some holes

Great desert hotel and tour

Pros: The hotel has a great location, where the sand dunes are literally right out the back door. Rooms are basic but very clean. The shower has hot water and good pressure. Beds are comfy, linens and sheets are clean. Hassan and his staff are amazing. They picked us up from the bus station very early in the morning and let us check in early so we could sleep after an overnight bus. We booked 4WD and camel tours with him which were excellent. Unfortunately for us it was pouring rain so we didn't stay in their desert camp, but Hassan was very accomdatating and we were still able to enjoy enough of the desert to make it worthwhile. The food is delicious. One of the best tangins we've had in 3 weeks in Morocco. Wifi is pretty good outside and in the dining hall but not in our room.

Perfect location with an welcoming host.

Pros: It is close to the cafés and the dunes, which made exploring easy. Mr. Hassan is an amazing host. He helped plan my stay and went beyond what was expected. The rooms have great air conditioning. Plus, you can see the dunes from the terrace.

Cons: WiFi during my stay was poor. Considering it is next to the desert it maybe unrealistic to expect better.

Comfy and welcoming

Pros: Hassan is a very welcoming host. He made sure we got everything we needed. The riad has a nice location, with the dunes in the backyard. It was clean and comfy. And we recommend the tajine as well! Thank you Hassan and team!

Pros: The Riad looks way better in reality than in pictures! On the rooftop you have some amazing views with the dunes, the room is beautifully decorated and spacious. Hassan was extremely helpful and kind. We couldn’t recommend it enough!
