Decent apartment in a quiet town

Pros: Most foreign tourists will not have a reason to stop overnight in Khemisset and one has to be very curious or adventurous to do so. We did just that on our way back from Fes to Rabat, with our rented car. Overall, our one-night stay in the apartment was fine; The host, Ismail, is a lovely and kind guy, who tried to make our stay as good as possible. It was easy to communicate with him and he has a decent English. The apartment is nice enough and located in a quiet, residential suburb; you can park your car outside, on the street. The kitchen is reasonably equipped, though in a minimal way; it was enough for cooking a couple of meals and boiling water.

Cons: What could be really improved are two aspects: first, the cleanliness of the place; while it wasn’t too bad, it was a bit sloppy. Secondly, it seems that the towels were washed before we came but not dried, which created a challenge for us as they were damp and a bit mouldy for use.

Lovely apartment in a kind friendly simple town.

Pros: Small cosy property in a simple town. There was nothing much to do in Khemisset, but we enjoyed a lot. Neighbours were so kind and children played with their children. The host made us couscous, we felt as much at home and my children got to see the simple real life of morroco, struggling families, yet kind, happy faces. So much kindness and hospitality that you don’t see in UK anymore! Local masjid newly painted, good cafe H&H for breakfast and coffee , and Moroccan restaurant nearby!

Cons: Nothing.
