Cons: Cold room and not enough space for sleeping (one double bed and single bed for 4 people)

Pros: Very welcoming staff, the terrace has a spectacular view over the valley but not over the river. In the ourika valley but about 20 minutes from the falls

A Cozy Stay with Spectacular Views in the Ourika Valley

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Tazart Lodge in the Ourika Valley. The apartment was very cute and cozy, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop terrace — the views from there are absolutely spectacular. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t in our favour and it rained throughout our stay, which limited how much we could enjoy the outdoor spaces. I would definitely recommend visiting closer to the summer season to fully experience all the benefits this place has to offer. The hosts were incredibly nice, friendly, and accommodating, which made us feel very welcome. Overall, a great place with lots of charm.

Pros: The host was such a lovely person! Hassan was such a gentle soul, I would recommend this place to every single person in my family.

We had a wonderful stay, Hassan and Abdul were the perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming! The food was delicious too!

Pros: The accommodation was lovely, and the terrace was beautiful! Perfect space to relax in!

Cons: The WiFi was a bit iffy (which isn’t normally a problem) but we needed it for work/studies.

Great Stay at Tazart Lodge in Ourika

Pros: We stayed one night at Tazart Lodge with our family, and it was amazing. The host was very kind and professional. He gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. The apartment had everything we needed. It was clean, spacious, very comfortable, and nicely decorated. The area around the lodge is also very beautiful. We were surrounded by mountains, and the view from the terrace was really special. We also want to thank the host for the tasty breakfast and the nice chat we had with him. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Pros: It was a beautiful location, the rooms were very spacious and there were very nice local walks around the area. The owners Mr Hasan and Mr Abdullah were very welcoming and nice and go above and beyond in helping you out. It’s a fantastic place to stay and the breakfast is great.

Such a great welcome and wonderful local food. Delicious tagine and delicious breakfast.

Pros: What a find! What a bargain. A great location for exploring the Ourika valley and visiting the Waterfalls, with riverside cafes at intervals. The Apartment is just so stylish in the local manner. Two large sofas and double and single beds in bedroom, as well as a cot. Gas hob and fridge. There is a small shop for dry goods and petrol pump opposite, and local Argan oil shop. Marrakech is c.45mins away, and a drive across the plain through two towns takes you to the valley to reach Imli and the Toubka walks. The Hassan family make one feel very welcome. Father speaks French, son has very good English.

Cons: Just one thing. More utensils for cooking. A fish slice for example if frying food?
