Unforgettable night in the desert

Pros: The place is incredible, the tents are incredibly beautiful, but the best of all is undoubtedly the hospitality, the attention, and the kindness of each one of those who attended us. From the transfer by jeep to the camp, the attention to the meals, all of them delicious, the camel ride, and the musicians at night. I would recommend it.

Pros: Very nice camp, yummy food, professional and friendly guide with good English. In the evening we enjoyed life music at the campfire. It was great time and nice experience. Good price.

Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful, we could even borrow a sand snowboard for free. Dinner was very good and afterwards there was live drum music with another camp. This camp offers really good value for money and we wish we could have stay longer. Really had fun with the staff and other travellers. The bathroom facilities were old but kept well clean. Staff is also very willing to help with activities.

Pros: The staff was very kind, Aziz and our camel driver Rashid above all. The ride in the desert was an unforgettable experience. The dinner was perfect and the berber music and dances around the fire completed it all.

Unforgettable experience!

Pros: Asiz met us at the Mouhou apartment as pre-arranged. The camel trek to the camp with Sahid.was amazing - a once in a lifetime experience. Sahid answered all our questions about camels and the desert fluently and with enthusiasm. The camp itself is very nice and has all the amenities you could want. Josef greeted us and was very welcoming. He too talked with us at length and walked with us to the top of the dune. The food was top notch. Jusef's friends came and played music around the fire. The location is great for exploring the dunes and watching stars, sunrise, sunset. We learned a lot about Berber life in the Sahara. There are other camps in the area that you can see from the dunes but this camp has a great location so feels more secluded even though all the camps are close.

Cons: Neither of these two negative points has anything to do with the camp or its organization. The fact that my niece and I were the only guests at the camp and that Jusef was the only person there made it seem a bit lonely . The heat (>45C - >115F ) was overpowering. We slept most of the night outside of the tents because it was simply too hot to stay inside. I highly recommend NOT to go in July or August otherwise you will not be able to enjoy the camp/camel ride to its fullest.

Amazing experience and camp

Pros: Amazing experience! Our guide was the best guide ever! First of all, he took us to the Khamlia town, then we walked around the mines meanwhile he told us the history about the surroundings, and after that we went to a bereber tent. The women there invited us to have some tea and to eat some handmade food while we had a nice talk. After that, we went to the camp. Beautiful camp, with wonderful and comfortable tents. We had a nice dinner and we enjoy watching them playing the drums later. Next day, ride back to town by camel. This guys are the best! Definitely the best experience of my trip to Morocco. I hope I can come back one day. Thank you

Cons: Everything was perfect!

Unforgettable experience. Recommend.

Pros: Quiet location in a desert, away from other camps. Very good dinner (the best tajine we ate in Morocco), good breakfast. Listening Berber songs and playing drums in the evening near the fire was lovely experience. Good hosts in the camp. The man at the reception in Merzouga was very helpful and nice. Also a young Berber with a guitar in the camp was nice and talkative. I recommend to go one way to the camp riding a camel and returning next day with a jeep. A camp was nothing special but clean and comfortable.

Cons: A camp is not in the middle of the most beautiful dunes. Riding a camel (1,5 hour) is quite a lot although it is interesting.

All you need for a more authentic desert experience at a great price.

Pros: Great value visit to a more secluded camp in the desert. Camel ride fun and 4x4 back recommended. Camp accommodation was surprisingly warm and good standard. Also toilets were fine. Food was much better than expected but, importantly, bring water with you as not provided by \

Cons: Small point, but the meeting place could be better signed and cleaner, but good staff, and not important considering value point.
