Excellent place to stay

Pros: The hosts did their best, very nice, warm.people and they serve us the best tagine in Morocco. Breakfats was very rich and tasty, with the best coffee from.our journey. The value for money, food was exceptional. Location was very good, probably a great one in warmer time.of.the year and not in.early January. The salon was very cozy one..warmed with logs, a great place to stay and relax. The terrace had a great view over the.mountains. The size of the rooms are.small, but need it to be like that to keep as warm as possible. The wollen blankets did their jobs.

Cons: The room.was extremely cold in the night ( early january) and you couldn't use the gas heater due to safety. Just the salon.had a wood burner. But my 2.small children slept well.

Great berber place up in the beautiful mountains!

Pros: Berber experience at its best! Very welcoming host who will take a very good care of you! Welcome tea and breakfast are really good! Private closed garage on site. Highly recommended!!

Value for money traditional Moroccan guest house with warm host and lovely food

Pros: Amazing place to stay. Worth making the journey to go. Everything as described. Good value for money. Bassou is very welcoming. Cooked a great tagine and breakfast. Felt very welcome and very authentic. Parked my motorbike in the garage.

Pros: The owner was amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough. I arrived by motorcycle and I could park it in the garage. Dinner and breakfast was really good and plentiful.

Pros: A beautiful place to stay. Such a kind family and perfect mountain location. I’m am bicycle touring Morocco and this was my favourite place to stay. I will return to Morocco on a few months and I will stay with these kind people again.

Pros: We booked very last minute as it became dark and we did not want to continue our drive. We were almost out of cash so booking.com was our only option. We booked 5 minutes before we arrived but Mr and Ms Bassou still managed to receive us with warm fire, tea and snacks. Even though it was late they offered to make us dinner (it was already 19:30). They served us a delicious meal at 22:00, this says something great about their hospitality and wonderful personalities. The breakfast was also really tasty and generous!! I think even the best on our trip so far. We felt very welcomed by them. It is a beautiful home and an even better experience. It was a really good and warm experience to stay at Maison Chez Bassou. Definitely recommended.

Inmejorable anfitrión en una bonita ruta de montaña.

Pros: El anfitrión es una gran persona que nos acogió como si fuéramos de la familia. El trato fue increíble, a pesar de la montañosa ubicación no pasamos nada de frio. Nos hizo un increible Tajín a un precio que parecía mentira y el desayuno fue el mejor que hemos tenido todo el viaje. Si no fuese poco, nos ofreció guiarnos por la gruta de Akhiam donde nos llevó por la nieve a la cascada y la cueva. Le daríamos un 11/10 si se pudiese.

Superbe nuit

Pros: Un accueil formidable ; malgré une arrivée tardive (22h) j'ai été reçue avec le sourire et une grande générosité. Un grand bonheur d'avoir pris un petit déjeuner très copieux en compagnie de votre famille. C'était un moment très agréable avec bien évidemment une vue magnifique. Rapport qualité prix totalement correct.

Cons: Le système d'eau à agoudal ne fonctionne pas bien donc je n'ai pas pu profiter de l'eau chaude à l'auberge.
