Pros: Very nice welcome, good breakfast, beautiful accomodation and very good location!
Cons: We are both tall, so the bed was a little small for us.

Excellent, thank you so much Zahra and Sanai. I’m recommending you and Dar Saida to all my friends.
Pros: The location was excellent, right in the centre of the old town. Zahra the hostess was so helpful showing us on the 1 st morning where to find essentials. But then arranging anything else we requested eg a trustworthy guide, which Hammam to use etc. Zahra popped in each morning to see if we had any queries. Sanai the housekeeper was lovely, always helpful, working to make a different breakfast in the local style daily. I can’t praise them both highly enough. Location was perfect for visiting the old town, and trips within reach.
Cons: The stairs are narrow and steep, this is the nature of such buildings , but visitors just need to be aware. The flat roof top area perhaps could be converted into a more attractive space for adult guests to sit outside, weather permitting. Just a suggestion. Also, there is a small window opening directly close to a 1 st floor bedroom overlooking the ground floor below. I personally would not find that safe enough for young children guests even though the window latch shuts. These are no detraction for adult guests to enjoy all the house has to offer.

Pros: Great location. The host came to meet us in a nearby car park to help us reach the accomodation, it was a 3 minute walk from there. The space was well decorated and exceptionally clean. We also loved the breakfast!

Pros: Zahra’s Dar is perfect for a stay in Fez, the location and decoration couldn’t have been better! Zahra was responsive and messaged us straight away and then came to meet us at the blue gate before taking us to the Dar as it is easy to get lost in the Fez Medina. The room was on the top floor, and the wood and decoration made it a very welcoming and homely place to stay. It was a really wonderful stay regardless and every detail (down to the nicest smelling bath gel we had) was thought out and very clean. The breakfast was very good, although some bread might be nice too as well as the Msemens! The staff was very kind and welcoming and even washed our clothes for a fee. Thank you Zahra, we highly recommend the dar and hope to be back one day!
