Pros: When you stay at a Riad you are not booking a room, you are immersing yourself in the essence of Moroccan hospitality. And Mr. Alami is the perfect host to welcome you in this beautiful city. Rooms are basic, toilet and shower fulfilled their purpose. There is air-conditioning/heating which came in handy on those cold February nights. Breakfast was included in the price and was very fulling with tasty combinations of sweet and savoury dishes. Right at the Blue Door, the entrance of the Medina so located in the heart of the buzzing atmosphere but rooms are quiet and we didn't hear any outside noise so sleeping was great. Will we come back...for sure on our next visit!

4 nights in Fes
Pros: Lovely host , nicely presented Riad . Super cheap for the central location, 2 minutes walk to the blue gate with breakfast included . Unlimited hot water in shower , decent air conditioning , excellent WiFi . Every evening I ate at Culture Box , 5 minutes walk (use Google maps !) excellent food (tagine , cheesecake , latte !) and super friendly staff .
Cons: I had a room with an outer wall at the rear of the property , it was on the small side , just enough room for a double bed to squeeze in thou there was a separate courtyard inside to use . Some background noise from the alleyway , kids playing and locals shouting .

Pros: Great location - the riad is really close to the blue gate (Bab Boujloud), the owner is really nice and helps with any questions you might have, when we went for a day trip outside Fes he also brought us breakfast to go!

Perfect location for a visit to Fez
Pros: Perfect location for a visit to Fez, only a 4 minute walk from the parking garage near the blue gate
Cons: The price for the underground parking was more than we expected (€9,— each night), but then your car is safe there

Pros: The breakfast was supper good and the coffee was the best Ive tried in Marroco. The staff is really helpful and kind.
Cons: They make the breakfast for you so if you dont consume something, probably this go to waste. I would recommend to ask the guests before what they want.

Good value and good location
Pros: I recently stayed for a couple of nights at this charming Riad in Fez, conveniently located just a short walk from the iconic Blue Gate. The host, Alami, kindly met me at the Gate after I arrived by taxi from Fez station. He was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay, and his fluent English and wide knowledge made conversation easy and interesting. Alami also offered recommendations on local attractions and sights to explore, which greatly enriched my experience in Fez. My room, along with the ensuite bathroom, was clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection was consistently strong. The traditional breakfast served each morning was simple yet satisfying. Overall, I highly recommend this Riad for anyone visiting Fez— it’s a peaceful retreat in the busy medina with warm hospitality and a great location.
Cons: It was a little noisy for a while at night from kids playing in the nearby alleyway.

We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this riad.
Pros: Friendly host, comfy bed, delicious breakfast, fantastic location.
Cons: We would have liked to have something basic for breakfast on the day we left before 8am for a tour, since breakfast was supposed to be included.

Great Road in Fes Medina
Pros: The location was unbeatable, 3min from the Blue Gate and next to one of the most important Medrassas. Breakfast was amazing and always prepared with love. The room was comfortable and we had all we needed. But what made Fes great was Alami. He was in contact with us as soon as the booking was made, helped us arrange transport, picked us up just outside the gate because we were arriving late, gave us great recommendations on what not to miss and shared a bit of Fes with us. He was friendly and welcoming.

Pros: The owner is a real gentleman and will do anything to make you feel at home. He meet us at the Blue Gate to guide us to the riad and did the same when we left. He is a font of information whether it be about tours, transport, laundry, navigating the medina etc. Lovely breakfast in the morning. Good rooftop terrace.
