Riad Fes Touria Palace

Helpful staff, comfortable & warm bed, quieter location

Pros: Lovely private room and semi-private bathroom. The sheets and pillow were super soft. I appreciated having an AC/heat unit I could adjust since it still gets quite chilly in the winter. The breakfast was very nice and overall the space is very pretty. The rooftop is also a nice place to relax and it seems the wifi is good up there. The staff was super helpful! I was very happy to receive Whatsapp communication before my arrival so that way I got some insight on public transit options to arrive. Then even when I was leaving, I was still asking questions about how to use the local bus to get to the train station (to take bus 16 to the airport). The staff, Omar, was very helpful and fun to talk with. Omar even assisted me with figuring out some options to review leather purses (though I was quite picky!). He pointed me in the direction of one of the larger leather shops in the main tannery area. Thanks so much!

An immersive experience in the heart of the old Fes medina in beautiful accommodations

Pros: Super cool location. We felt like we went back in time. Omar is a gem! He helped us around the Fes, guided us in by video camera when Google Maps had us desperately stuck in a Fes pedestrian zone and was a great source of insight into the world of Fes! Thank you Omar.

Cute and peaceful oasis in the middle of the Medina

Pros: Very beautiful and cute. Love the traditionality and kind staff. Breakfast was great and everything was clean. Peaceful oasis with great location in the middle of the markets/medina Room was very small and shared bathroom/shower was a level lower but great value for money

Cons: You have to park at a busy spot where you have to pay. Then you have to walk 3-5 minutes with a stair, which wasn’t disclosed before

Pros: Omar was absolutely fantastic, he went above and beyond giving us recommendations, helping us find where to go in the confusing Medina and being very chatty and helpful. We had a lovely stay in such a great location.

It was a very comfortable guesthouse.

Pros: I stayed at this guesthouse for three nights, and it was a wonderful experience. What impressed me the most was the staff, especially Omar, who was truly outstanding. I stayed here during my solo trip, and when I lost my travel adapter, I told him I wanted to buy a new one. He kindly guided me to a local electrician he knew, and I was able to get a new adapter at a fair price. He always made sure I was comfortable. If you stay in Fez, I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse.
