A Secret Garden

Pros: A special place. Welcoming, clean, great value. Very relaxed and relaxing. Beautiful balcony views catching all the days sunshine. Dinner option in the guest house is always good. Breakfasts now than satisfying. Gentle, positive and hospitable hosts.

Comfortable, clean good value for money in a good location.

Pros: Great location and Nora the housekeeper managed the place brilliantly. Y always being available. No English but that made no difference. She cleaned and did breakfast with a smile.

Cons: Location is very quiet if you don’t mind early morning calls from the resident cockrel. The shared toilet is in a ceramic corridor so can be noisy but everyone seems to respect the 10pm quiet time and once everyone is in bed it is extremely quiet. The rooms are great with en-suite shower and sink and we had the balcony which was fabulous looking out onto the allotments and gorge.

Pros: So it is a homestay run by a very friendly host who is a great cook. If you don't expect luxury and big rooms with great isolation, but enjoy a more down to earth, real life guest house, you will like it here! Take the time for a stroll in the palmeries!

Pros: The peaple were amazing and humble it's the first time i saw theme but i felt like i am one of thiere familliy => no doubt next time i am gonna go to the same hotel or more like a house the invirement was great with trees and the view of old houses and huge montains

Pros: Beautiful house with an amazing view on the mountains, the luscious valley and the gardens. The host, Ismael, was friendly and super helpful. He spent a whole day helping us because we had a car problem, thanks again 🙏. The food was delicious and plentiful.

Pros: We basically liked everything about the guest house. Really nice hosts. Nice rooms with balcony and beautiful view. Good food. Helpful information for climbing and other activities. Good vibe.

Pros: I stayed at secret garden for just over 3 weeks, extending my trip because it was so lovely here. Ismael was a wonderful host, making sure we were always comfortable and happy. He cooked delicious food and made the best tea I've had in Morocco. The hotel is in a lovely location with an amazing view of the lush gardens in Todra. Additionally, it is super close to most of the climbing in the gorge - close enough to walk (2km max). Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay.

Pros: Amazing place, the room are very comfy and clean. We had an amazing view from the balcony and the shower is amazing and beautiful. The staff is very friendly, especially Ishmael was very helpful and kind with us!

Cons: The entrance is not close to the street, you need to walk in between the village streets, but it's very well marked. Better to go with backpack than trolleys :)
