Pros: The host is an amazing man; speaks english as well. Location is perfect for those who want to go to the desert and for those, who arrive with bus. It’s clean and safe.

Pros: It was really nice place to stay. The owner family is very friendly and kind, very welcoming. They have the AC in the room so I could stay very comfortable in summer. The location is very close to the bus stop (supratours) so easy to move another city. I joined the desert camp from this hotel. I totally enjoyed. Thank you for everything.

Pros: Very nice. The owner is great, he found us a cheap jeep for the desert, arranged camel riding for a cheaper price than online, we were allowed to leave our motorcycles in his garage while we were on the camel ride and slept in the desert.

Best place to stay in merzouga

Pros: Amazing place to stay in merzouga!! This was the best place I stayed during my 3 week trip to Morocco. The owner Muhammad is very accommodating and is an amazing person he was able to organise many different kinds of desert activities for a good price. The rooms were clean and the showers were nice and hot. It’s also walking distance away from the Main Street where they have the best food I’ve had in Morocco. You are also able to walk to the dunes if you don’t mind a bit of a longer walk.

Best location & host & value

Pros: The place is better that in photos and we enjoyed staying there so much! We stayed in Chez twice because it's perfectly located close to the only bus stop connecting Merzouga with Marrakesh and close to the main Street with all restaurants. The host was exceptionally kind and understanding and accommodating, allowing early check in and even providing transfer to the Cafe du Sud where many tents drop off is located. Chez Belkacem also offers all desert activities to do during the days which can be perfect for people who want to explore the Sahara without struggling in cold and lack of amenities in the tents. We've been in Morocco for 5 weeks but we especially enjoyed Chez so much and especially appreciated the kindness of the host!

Cons: The place is great considering that it's the remote village next to desert, so it met our expectations!

A very cosy and comfortable

Pros: Very friendly host and helpful host - I felt like I was living with family. Central - and just as few minutes from the bus-station and restaurants - still very quiet at night. Very clean - very comfortable bed. Shower with good water pressure and hot water. Very good breakfast. A super plus that I could check in to my room 6 in the morning after arriving with the night bus. I would absolutely recommend this place

Nice location to stay in Merzouga

Pros: Belkacem is a very welcoming and helpful person. The Mesmen for breakfast was delicious. The bedroom was huge. The place has a nice traditional style.

Cons: The bedroom could be better with a couple of chairs to put the clothes. Hooks for the towels and clothes in the bathroom would also be useful.

true authentic experience

Pros: We have experienced the true Moroccan hospitality and enjoyed authentic atmosphere. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, nice local traditional food, good conversations and amazing location to reach the desert by foot.

Pros: Moha is so kind and gave me an amazing experience in the desert!!!
