Horaz Merzouga Camp

Pros: The place was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and made an effort to accomodate us. There was plenty of space to find your own spot and enjoy the desert alone or with your partner.

Cons: It is maybe a bit commercial/touristy, but that's to be expected with such a beautiful place.

Pros: Perfect stay. The warm and friendly welcome, well-equipped room, and the great breakfast and dinner. I also enjoyed the starry sky and the beautiful sunset and sunrise during my stay. A wonderful experience and definitely worth the trip.

Perfect family dessert experience

Pros: Really nice near and clean room, very nice dinner.

Cons: I think fare for 4x4 vehicle to camp from merzouga is high. Before booking confirm this with Ali. Overall nice stay.

Pros: Beautiful camp, on the far side of the dunes. It's a bit more isolated than other camps. The staff were wonderful and very attentive to our needs as a family with two kids below 10.

Magical stay in the middle of the desert

Pros: Beautiful atmosphere, great staff and silent camp Incredible camel ride at the sunset and romantic dinner for two under the stars, with berber show at the end ! Very recommended

Beautiful place but too expensive on activities

Pros: The accomodation is in a wonderful environment and the tents are very beautiful and cozy. We were well received by the team which was flexible and attentive.

Cons: There are few activities to do autonomously from the hotel and you are dependant on the prices that are fixed for each travel if you don't have a car : in the end, it made our days very expensive. For exemple, the price to go to the nearest airport was 180€ when I have found a 90€ service elsewhere, which is not even the cheapest. Sometimes, due to energy provided by solar panels, there are some electricity cuts (wifi, electricity & hot water in the tents etc), which could happen in the desert but there is no communication from the staff about it and when the electricity is supposed to come back There is no choice at diner so be careful if you are picky or don't eat certain foods

Tranquil desert camp ideal for stargazing

Pros: Horaz Camp is a gorgeous, tranquil luxury desert experience hidden in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Ali and his team were incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. We did a camel ride at sunset, then took a 4x4 to the camp, which is very remote and peaceful. Jumbo, the black cat, was also there to welcome us! After dinner we spent the night stargazing, which was absolutely magical. There are so many little corners to relax in, so you can find your own peaceful spot to watch the stars or you can sit by the fire with others. Our yurt was way nicer than expected and even has its own bathroom, so we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend!
