Fair but had better expectations

Pros: The dinner and breakfast were exceptional and the experience of being in the desert was surreal.

Cons: Paying extra for air-conditioning was very surprising and unexpected. We've been to several resorts in the desert in Rajasthan, India but never have had to do this.

Good value for money because of the luxurious tent, beautiful surroundings and great food

Pros: Spacious luxurious tent with large bed & good shower. Fantastic & plenty of food at dinner & breakfast. Rhythmic musical performance at campfire after dinner. Desert Sparrows (a sought-after bird) are present.

Cons: Agreed pick-up in the evening was 40 mins late and had to be reminded by a phonecall. Made up for by free A/C in the tent. Also, there are no (large) sand dunes in the direct vicinity of this (& nearby) tented camps so sunrise and sunset are beautiful but not spectacular - to be amongst tall dunes you need a quad, 4WD or dromedary at an extra cost. Lastly, an aggregate runs 24/7 in the background so there is no desert silence, ever.
