The Sahara Desert is so beautiful, I will come back if I have the chance
Pros: The location is great. Just walk 10 minutes across the road and you will enter the desert. The owner offered a very reasonable price for us to ride camels into the desert to watch the sunset and enjoy the golden desert. It was beautiful. We also took the Merzouga 4X4 tour to enjoy the black desert, Berber villages, and African music.
Cons: A lot of sand and flies disturbed our sleep

Pros: On the terrace you have a beatiful view on the dunes. Having dinner there was nice! It's possible to have breakfast, lunch and dinner there, the food and the rooms were nice. Omar was really nice, too. There are also some options inside the house to sit down and read or something, which we enjoyed. We would definetely come here again.
Cons: We booked a night in the dunes at the stay, and everything worked out, but we would not do it again. The fact that we did not like the tour is not the fault of this stay, but I want to share our experiences. It was a sunset tour through the dunes originally with the camel. We didn't want to go with the camel, so they arranged us a tour with a 4×4, which was fun! But for us, the next time we would only do a 4x4 ride without sleeping in the dunes. The guys at the camp (sahara luxurious camp) kind of gave a vibe that they don't care about you. The light in our tent was broken which the guy realised when he brought us to our tent - but he did not try to do anything about it and simply didn't care. Communication was difficult because we only knew a little bit of french and he did not understand english. Also, we asked the same guy as above (in french) if it was possible to have a vegetarian meal (and he answered that it was possible), but ended up getting meat. Breakfast was the worst we had on our trip. In total, we think it's totally overpriced and mass tourism.

Hospitable, Comfortable & Clean
Pros: It was AWESOME!! Lots of cool character inside the doors, plenty of living spaces to chill and eat dinner which the hostel staff can accommodate for you. Mustapha was super responsive via WhatsApp before our stay which I really appreciated and the staff at the hostel were unbelievable. Super Kind, caring and really made you feel at home. That was great. =] Location was unreal also. Eating breakfast on the top terrace overlooking the Merzouga dunes was incredible. Abdul also help us organise a 4x4 tour around the dunes and the area last minute with his cousin and friends which again was epic. Thank you for this. To top it all off, the wonderful lady running the kitchen even did our laundry for us. So amazing to have a washing machine to be able to do our washing (as it was much needed for my wife and I). Another plus + plus + plus + for this property, Mustapha and his team.
Cons: The neighbouring rooster…. Hahaha but how else do you get fresh eggs and fresh chicken.

Excellent value for the money.
Pros: Great location just 5 minutes walk to the dunes to enjoy sunset. Room was comfy and clean. House is nice decorated inside in rustical Berber style. Best is to have dinner on the terrace under the stars.
Cons: You don't need alarm to wake you up. Every morning at 5.30 neighbours rooster will wake you up for shure. But that is the charm of a countryside.

Pros: The place is very well decorated and clean. All the staff that work there are amazing and friendly. We were a group of friends travelling together and the place felt like home. I highly recommend you stay here if you want to experience amazing hospitality and get the real experience of life in the desert.
