A place to feel at home

Pros: We discovered this place at the very last moment by true luck - very good luck! My girlfriend and I stayed here for a couple of nights, and from the very first moment, we were impressed by the stunning structure, and the warm and professional hospitality. Unfortunately, I had some health issues during our stay due to food poisoning that happened in Fes the day before arriving here in Merzouga, but (as Lahcien would say) thanks to God we found the nicest host ever. He always offered us all the help possible, more than what we could ever imagine. We are truly and deeply grateful. The food is incredible, the service impeccable. Best place and best people of our whole 8-day trip to Morocco. But most of all, we truly feel as if we have found a second home in Maison Merzouga Guest House. Already planning our second trip for next year!

Pros: The hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff and family that own it were brilliant hosts. Very welcoming and realy good accommodation i can't recommend this hotel enough. I will 100% come back again. Thanks for a great time at your lovely hotel!

We had a great stay in Maison Merzouga Guesthouse

Pros: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this guesthouse! The owner was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property itself is stunning, with a beautifully maintained swimming pool that truly felt like an oasis in the desert. One of the highlights was that we were kindly allowed to enjoy the pool for longer on our departure day, as we were heading out for our camel safari in the evening – such a thoughtful gesture! The included breakfast was excellent, plentiful, and offered a great variety to start the day right. If you’re looking for a peaceful, charming place with warm hospitality and top-notch amenities, this is the place to be. We can’t recommend it enough!

A true Oasis in the desert of Merzouga.

Pros: After a long ride from Midelt and the hot midday sun I was delighted to arrive in Merzouga, parking for the motorbike was a plus and also the welcoming tea at the side of the swimming pool. The room was nice & cool and after a refreshing swim, the owner gave me a talk of the history of the guesthouse, Merzouga and the activities there were. As I had only one night and afternoon (way too short) I decided to do the sunset in the dunes and after I had an amazing dinner at the guest house. The staff & the owner are super friendly and helpful and I wished I could have stayed longer. Price-Quality is superb, the rooms are basic as well as the bathrooms, but the outdoor facilities and resting areas are chill out, a great place to stay with a group of friends or family. Breakfast was abundant. A memorable stay.

Pros: The property was very spacious and well thought out. The highlight was the staff especially Aziz and Lahecen.

Wonderful place to explore the desert

Pros: The guesthouse is located very close to the Erg Chebbi dunes and the local oasis. It is an excellent place for a comfortable stay in the area.

Cons: The quality of the soap was not great. Everything else was terrific.

Very nice place and hospitality

Pros: A wonderful host who makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. Beautiful location close to the Sahara. We booked a night in the Sahara through the owner. Very basic setup with three tents for a maximum of three families. In the evening, a cook prepares dinner in a separate tent – it tasted delicious. Afterwards, we enjoyed a campfire under the starry sky.

Pros: We stayed at Merzouga Guest House as a recommendation from other travelers we met and it was the best recommendation. Not only we felt like home by Lahcen, the owner, but the food, the location and the trips were excellent. We decided to do a night in the desert and the experience was magical. The food was amazing, the rooms well equiped, quiet and with good internet. Thank you again! 🙏🏼
