Dune House

Pros: Dune House was one if the highlights of our trip to Morocco. You come upon this jewel of a place , a stones throw from the sand dunes. This was the only place where we shared rooms but the twin beds were large in a spacious room. As you exit the room you have a lounge room and beyond that a patio where we had our meals watching the sunrise and the evening turn into a night sky dotted with stars. All in all a magical stay at Erg El Chebbi. The staff are a real asset to the place. Mohammed and Rajji were exceptional in their courtesy and cooking skills. Go for it! You will love it.

Cons: It wasn’t that easy to find. Needs more signage pointing the way.

Pros: Dune House was difficult for us to find, being a boutique building situated in the grounds of a much larger Kasbah style hotel..... but well worth it! A little gem, 5 luxury suites with ensuite bathroom facilities, an enormous bed and its own dining and sitting areas. The views were straight out onto the dunes......you can't be any closer to the desert. We were attentively cared for by Mohammed, who organised everything from experiences and excursions, to dining and drinks. He even managed to rustle up a few beers for us on the hot afternoon bar!!😊 All in all, a great place to stay when exploring the Sahara area of Morocco.

Cons: Poor wifi

Pros: Fantastic location on the edge of the sand dunes. Lovely room. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming - he even gave us an impromptu tour of the stars.

Cons: Nothing springs to mind. This was our favourite hotel on our Morocco tour.

Great spot in the middle of the desert.

Pros: We arrived late - 11pm - and the staff was still up waiting for us. It's dead silent in the desert, so if you're looking for peace and quiet this is the place to be! Rooms were very clean, staff were attentive and helpful, and the food was great. Would recommend staying here if you're heading to the dunes, and they can assist you in arranging those plans as well!

Excellent stay, astronomy session, and friendly hospitality.

Pros: I stayed at the dunehouse for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Moha was very knowledgeable in astronomy and led a very entertaining demonstration/education session. My room was clean and the service was great. They also scheduled a desert camping tour for my family which we also enjoyed. This is the perfect place to go to look at the sky. There is very little light pollution and I could clearly see the Milky Way and many other stars. If you want to have an astronomy demonstration just make sure to notify moha(wasapp 00212661144620) in advance and also check the weather forecast to make sure you can see the stars.

Joli espace aux portes du désert

Pros: La taille de la chambre, sa décoration, la literie confortable, le frigo rare dans les établissements du pays, le parking gratuit.

Cons: Espace en travaux, c'est dommage. La vue sur les dunes gâchée par les tentes pour touristes. Dîner pas terrible et petit-déjeuner sans intérêt. D'ailleurs, les tables ne sont pas mises et il faut débarrasser soit-même. Une dalle de la piscine complètement détachée est propice à la blessure.

Pros: De prachtige locatie. Uitzicht op de woestijn, die meteen zodra je de deur uit liep begint. We zaten in het dune house, een apart gelegen huis, wat verder weg van het hotel. Het is nieuw gebouwd in traditionele stijl met veel aandacht voor prachtige details. Groot en comfortabel. We konden gebruik maken van alle binnen en buitenruimtes, allemaal even mooi en schoon. Ook het zwembad, echt fantastisch. Fijne bedden, goede douche en de supervriendelijke Raisa die elke ochtend een groot en vers ontbijt voor ons maakte. We konden ook het avondeten daar gebruiken, wat een heerlijk marrokaans viergangendiner was voor 150 dirham, ook door haar gemaakt. We zijn er heerlijk tot rust gekomen en hebben genoten van de indrukwekkende woestijn.

Pros: WOW!!!! Look no further for the perfect desert stay! You are right at the foot of the dunes with a privileged location to enjoy an unbelievable sunrise and starry night. We had a dinner there and it was one of our favorite meals of our whole trip! The staff was so kind and welcoming to us and our 8 month old baby! This was hands down one of our favorite places we have ever stayed. Every inch of the setting is decorated with thoughtful design.

Havre de paix au pied des dunes

Pros: Havre de paix donnant sur le désert! Maison charmante décorée avec goût et tout confort - vue sur les dunes et possible d’aller aisément voir le lever et coucher de soleil directement à pied depuis le logement. La dame qui y travaille est adorable et la cuisine délicieuse.

Cons: C’est un détail mais ajouter quelques transats pour s’allonger au soleil serait vraiment un plus et également des meilleures indications pour trouver le logement.

Un endroit sublime !!!

Pros: Maison superbement belle Au pied des dunes Chambre super belle et bien chauffée Raja la jeune fille qui travaille la bas est vraiment une perle , gentille et professionnelle, très efficace
