Sahara Happy Camp

Perfect. Two of the best nights of our holiday. Thank you.

Pros: Lovely location. Straightforward communication from Omar- everything was as he said. It was our daughter’s birthday at the camp and she was treated to a wonderful evening of music, dancing and a birthday cake. Thank you. Highly recommended stay.

Cons: No fault of Omar’s or the camp but the camel ride we went on let us down. We were frog marched to a dune and dumped with little explanation while they went back to fetch a second group. The camel guide was quite intrusive and demanded a HUGE tip at the end becoming very rude when we declined.

Pros: The place is just perfect, smaller, cozy camp site. Omar, the owner is super nice and friendly person. Nothing was a problem. All staff is very polite.

Amazing experience.

Pros: Very nice camp. We happened to be on our own on the night that we stayed there, so the owner helped us with booking the quads, he drove us to the place and then picked us up to take us to the camp. The quads really was the top experience for both us and our two children. Highly recommended. Funnily enough we got soaking wet on the way back from the quads trip as it rained like never in the last 15 years... just as we arrived from the experience to the camp they brought us a lovely welcome tea and a heater to warm ourselves up and dry ourselves. Very friendly. The dinner was almost 5 courses, delicious. The breakfast was amazing as well. Very nice. The room is very comfortable.

Cons: Not a thing.

Pros: Room is clean. Interior design of tent is beautiful. Camp site is beautiful. Breakfast is good. Staff is helpful, in particular, Omar is very very helpful. The trip of 🐫 is very funny.

Cons: It is cold in Jan. As no heat in the tent, it is cold in the nighttime. If the tent has heat. it is perfect.

2 nights here are not enough!

Pros: This place is a dream. I wish I had stayed longer. Omar and Mustafa are amazing young men and they were so good with my little boys. They organised a whole day for us while we were there, could not have asked for a better experience.

Pros: Everything!!! It was one of the best moments of my life so far what I spent here! Beautiful location very comfy too! The food was delicious and more than enough! And really like to highlight Omar and the staff hospitality. If You choose this camp you will have the best out of everything what the Sahara can give you and do not forget the slogan is THIS IS AFRICA!!! - you will understand this if you choose this camp 😉

Pros: Everything that is said about Omar is true! He is an amazing person, full of life, who did everything to keep us entertained. Omar took us on a ride through the Saharian dunes in his pick-up truck and the ride was simply amazing as I have never experienced such a thing. Omar was playing some local band in his car (Tikoubaoiune) whose music sounded exceptional (a mix of blues and local folk which I have never heard of). I found them on youtube and kept listening to their amazing tunes. The meal organized at the tents was delicious, though a bit on the heavy side, given the extreme temperatures. I can highly recommend this experience.

Absolutely amazing experience, and a feast to all the senses. Must do trip with kids!

Pros: Mustafa and his family were very hospitable, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment at the Sahara camp.
