Desert Rose Camp

Pros: My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience. Sofyan gave us a very warm welcome and was incredibly accommodating, making sure to meet all of our requests. We truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay. We would highly recommend it!

Fantastic stay with very beautiful and comfortable tent

Pros: We had a great experience at the camp! Souffian and his team were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We started with a buggy ride which was AMAZING and I highly recommend! We then went on a fun camel ride to the camp. The tent exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, clean, cozy, had a big bed, good bathroom. Dinner was good and vegetarian/vegan as we requested. Breakfast was plentiful with much variety and a delicious berber omelette. Vegan options for breakfast were limited but it's like that everywhere in Morocco from our experience. In the morning we watched sunrise, went sand boarding and returned to Merzouga with a 4 by 4 truck which was also a lot of fun. FYI: The tent doesn't have regular power sockets, but offers built in USB-A so make sure to bring the proper charging cable. Buggy cost €130,- for one hour (fits two people) Transfer (camel + 4by4) cost €50,- per person

Simply unforgettable

Pros: Everything was very well curated. The tent is wonderful, the camp is stunning and it’s just a few tents which makes the experience magical. The staff is superbe: everyone is discreet and available and Soufyen is a game changer. His hospitality is exceptional and has great care of everyone’s needs. He also speaks Italian fluently so it is perfect for all Italian tourists. Breakfast was amazing, as well as lunch and dinner which were abundant and great quality. We wouldn’t consider any other camp!

Memorable Stay

Pros: In these commercial times it is hard to know where is the real thing, but these guys at Desert Rose Camp, they deliver it. Here there is great intimacy, specially at night by the fire. If you have the luck of catching Youssef with his guitar, you will not forget it..Also a word for the talented drummers. This young team composed of multi talented men, with great soul and cultural background is capable of lefting everlasting memories. Sofyan made us feel at home, a great host with great sense of decoration, and by the way, a great polyglote.(and there is one more around). In my opinion, the cuisine was excellent, always top during 3 days.

Cons: Nothing to say

Pros: Nice comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and dinner. Beatiful nature and cozy atmosphere. People are amazing, friendly and helpful. Kids loved sandboarding.

We totally recommend going there we stayed for 2 days , we suggest to take the package with the activities we got to see

Pros: It was very clean , the food was fresh , the views from the camp were magnificent ,the stargazing next to the fire and the camel rides were one time experience that we will never forget ✨☺️

My stay was excellent

Pros: The camps rooms were exactly the same like in pictures, very attractive and beautiful. The staff there is soo friendly, caring and responsible. They make sure to look after you in every possible way they can. Manager sofyan is a Gem. The moment i booked couple of weeks ago he was in touch although it was pay at property. I stayed there for two night they provided one guide ALI for our pickup and drop off. He such a humble and nice person haven't seen this kind hospitality in anywhere in world. Food is very tasty aswell. They provide many activities such as quad bike, 4x4 jeep tour sahara desert with lunch, buggy and camel ride with your drop-off or pickup. The place very private and best for couple who want some privacy and spend some quality time without any disturbance. They also play some music and bonfire at night. Every time i'm going merzouga i'm booking with them. Soufiyan, Ali, Abdul and Umar all of them are best people and stars

Perfect place to meet a desert

Pros: Very good hospitality. Clean and nice tent. Tasty food, the best mint tea in Morocco! Shower and toilet are private in your tent.

Cons: Very good service!

Pros: Upon arrival at the camp, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and treated to a delicious cold drink (an absolute blessing after a 1.5-hour camel ride 😊). Dinner was tasty and very generous, and the staff made sure we felt comfortable and well cared for throughout our stay. The tent was spotlessly clean, spacious, tastefully decorated, and impressively equipped—with both a shower (!) and a toilet. It’s also worth appreciating that while waiting for our evening camel transport to the camp, we were able to relax in the cool lobby of the Riad and enjoy the pool—which especially delighted our daughter 😄.

Cons: The only unpleasant surprise was the camp’s location. Despite earlier assurances, the tents were no more than 100–150 meters away from at least three other camps, and a fourth was under construction during our stay (which unfortunately meant noise from machinery in the evening and morning).
