Ma favourite place in Morocco - comfortable, cozy and convenient

Pros: My favourite place to stay in Morocco (and I stayed in at least five)! The riad is run by a very friendly host and is in a great location (Medina in Fez). The room was very clean, cozy and comfortable. It was also warm and quiet and had a bathroom with necessary amenities. Also the bed was very comfortable. This was accompanied by a simple but very varied and delicious breakfast, served on the roof terrace. Great place! I don't know when I'll be back in Fez, but I'll definitely keep the contact!

Cons: Some people may feel uncomfortable with the fact that the rooms do not have windows, so it is quite dark, but, hey, it's typical for riads. It's not an error but a feature and part of the exerience.

Pros: Jawad and his team are really awesome. I have had a nice stay and the breakfast was really consistent and delicious. I highly recommend the Riad Amal for a quiet and comfortable stay in Fès.

Pros: The place is very close to the square where the taxies can go. After that it took only a minute or two to get to the Riad. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the gentleman there carried my bag to the taxi stop and arranged it to go to the bus station. It was very kind of him. Breakfast was included and it was plenty.

We highly recommend this location!

A superb place to stay with a great host.

Pros: The riad is well-placed in a little street just a few metres from the old medina. As soon as the door is closed, all the noise is shut out and it becomes an oasis of calm. The tiled bathroom was wonderful and the bed in the room lovely and firm. The host met me from my taxi to walk me to the property, which was very welcome, and an exceptional start to the weekend. The views from the rooftop aren't amazing but the breakfast of harsha, msemen, melwi, croissant, and more is out of this world and a great start to the day.

Pros: The staff is great, they go beyond their means to make you comfortable and they are very helpful.

Cons: There was a problem with my room so they send me to another guest house wich was still ok, and the check out supoused to be at 12 but they asked me to leave the room at 11 because they had another guest coming.

Pros: Very convenient location on higher Medina, very close to open-air square and a nice easy walk to Jewish District, too. Cheap and good restaurants nearby Hot water and heater for winter nights.

Cons: Smelly bathroom that fortunately my bf was able to fix (just needed to turn around the pipe and the problem was solved for ever)

Pros: Nizar was our host at the Riad and very helpful and friendly. He gave us alot of information on the history and local places to go eat. The stay at the Riad was very nice and will definitly recommend. They also recommended a quad bike hike to the fountain which we really enjoyed.

Pros: This riad, situated near the medina entrance, boasts a delightful atmosphere and welcoming family ambiance, complemented by a great breakfast. We appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to store our backpacks after check-out.

Cons: The only minor drawback was a faint, nearly imperceptible mold scent in our ground-floor room, possibly unavoidable without windows.
