Pros: Location was a few minutes walk to Blue Gate so convenient enough that you are in the old medina but close enough to the Blue Gate that you do not have to walk through an extensive maze of alleys to get there

Excellent hotel in the heart of the old medina

Pros: A very beautiful and pleasant hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and always smiling – you truly feel welcome. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old medina, with everything just a short walk away. The breakfast was excellent, a delicious and authentic Moroccan experience. Everything was on a high level – I warmly recommend this place!

Pros: Dar Borj is a true hidden gem nestled in the little alleyways of the old medina. Its location is absolutely ideal for exploring, yet it still feels tucked away and peaceful. Aziz couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful, and the rooms are as charming and cosy as they come — it truly exceeded all expectations. Be sure to take them up on their offer to arrange a day tour for you — you won’t regret it. I did one with Mahmoud and learned so much about the rich history and hidden corners of Fez. An unforgettable experience all around.

Great staff, great location, fantastic view and breakfast.

Pros: We loved our stay at Dar Borj, the staff were so helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was fantastic served in their air conditioned rooftop terrace - and incredible way to start the day with a view over Fes! The room was comfy and well equipped, air con worked well and the building was incredible. Wasn't too hard to find and staff were able to help with a taxi and moving luggage (both up and down the stairs at the accom and to our taxi when we were leaving). Would happily stay again.
