Dar Nineta

Pros: It was an unforgettable experience, staying in a Riad was magical. The ambiance and charm of the place captivated us from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the friendly host and staff. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we could only enjoy one night there, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Overall, we loved our time at Dar Nineta and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of the Medina Fes.

Like a queen in a castle

Pros: The Dar is just a few min from Blue Gate and in a good location. It has wonderful character and although I was staying there alone and way to the Dar can be a bit uncomfortable I felt very safe. Also people from next door Riad were really friendly and always said hello and asked if I am on and need anything. Nada (owner) was out of town but in touch with me all the time to make sure I am safe and comfortable and I have everything what I need. When she arrived she came to meet me and brought me small present which I appreciate it:) There was an issue with toilet but Nada called someone immediately. It is not a luxury accompaniment but very old, wonderful family house where you can feel history from every item. Lots of information for guests which I have found super helpful. I would definitely come back!

Cons: It’s not like I didn’t like but people should know that walking to Dar through the small dark street is a bot weird first time. But only first time.

We were glad ,that we chose this place

Pros: We had a wonderful holiday, a real Moroccan house with large rooms, very comfortable beds, always hot water in the bathrooms, delicious breakfasts served to us by the lovely Alawow were also local. The facility is located in a great area, in the middle of the old medina, we had a very good tourist office nearby , it is close and straight to the Blue Gate, from where we went on trips. The landlady is a very nice person, she speaks good English, she is always helpful, we parted with her as with a new friend. We recommend this place.

Pros: We had a very pleasent stay at Nadia’s place. We had the whole house for ourselfs and it was amazing. There is a really nice view from terrace, a lot of space and really good breakfasts. You can’t park directly near the house, there is a parking nearby where someone might help you with your luggage. Nadia helped us with that and told us how much we should pay for parking luggage carrying and so on, she was very kind, highly recommend this place 🙂

Cons: Not about property itself, but we don’t recommend a guy for a tour guide that Nadia introduced to us.

Very charming place, an authentic riad

Pros: We had the whole place for ourselves and we could use the kitchen. Central location. Good wifi. Nadia, the host, was very helpful, she made us a lovely breakfast every day and she took our laundry to get washed, and she went out of her way giving us a lift to the train station, getting us a taxi on our last day and booking us a table on Christmas night. Very charming place, an authentic riad.

Cons: The bedrooms were a bit too dark, some of the lights were not working. The bathrooms are a little bit small.

War alles super

Pros: Nadja war sehr nett und hat uns viel geholfen. Sie besorgte uns einen Guide und wir bekamen unser Frühstück eine Stunde früher

Pros: Nadia was very welcoming and flexible with the time we needed our breakfast. The breakfast was great!

Cons: Unfortunately the wifi is pretty bad. You can send an email if you are close to the kitchen but that’s about it. We ended up going to a restaurant to use the wifi to get a good signal.

Pros: Dar molto grande dotato di bagni privati per ogni stanza e bel terrazzo. Ottima colazione preparata fresca ogni mattina

Très bonne adresse à l’entrée de la Médina, très calme mais donnant dans la principale rue du souk , tout près du parkin

Pros: Le charme l’emplacement la gentillesse de Nadia et ses excellents conseils (restaurant , le guide Jawad, les bonnes adresses). Le parking surveillé à 4€ la nuit. Les excellents petits déjeuners.

Pros: Posizione molto centrale. L'host ha organizzato un bel tour per la città con una guida locale.

Cons: La cucina è piccola e poco funzionale. La mattina del check out abbiamo chiesto di anticipare la colazione alle 7 ma non ci é stato concesso. Abbiamo allora chiesto che venisse lasciata in cucina ed abbiamo trovato del pane secco e una brioche confezionata. Nessuna bevanda. L'uso della macchinetta del caffè prevedeva un costo extra. Quando abbiamo fatto notare il nostro disappunto, l'host ha dato la colpa alla donna di servizio che invece non c'entrava nulla
