Fabulous, super friendly Riad
Pros: Staying at Riad Braya was a highlight of our trip. The room and ambiance were lovely and the breakfasts great. But what made it extra special was the staff: Mohammed and Tariq were friendly, helpful and delightful, nothing was too much trouble.

Great relaxing environment, great helpful staff
Pros: Beautiful Riad. Very quiet when we were there in July. The staff were absolutely amazing and extremely helpful. Met us at the taxi drop off and Helped with our luggage. Helped us communicate with any issues we had with anything. Had a rooftop, but too hot to sit there. I had a tour to do on my own (female) and they made sure I was taken care of till the guide turned up. Great place
Cons: For us the air condition was too cold and couldn’t adjust, even with staff help. Our accommodation was on the 3rd floor with narrow stairs and no lift. The staff were great and extremely helpful taking everything up and back down again for us. I think at the time of booking was hard to work out were the rooms we’re This Riad only served breakfast.

Pros: The staf was amazing! Everyone was so nice and we felt really welcome.
Cons: The shower was a bit low, but we knew that beforehand and it wasnt bothering us because the rest of the stay was a 10/10

Beautiful and peaceful riad in the medina near the Blue Gate
Pros: This riad has a spacious, clean, peaceful, and beautiful inner courtyard where you can sit and relax if you choose to. Our room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially with meeting us on arrival at the shuttle transfer point near the Riad and again on departure and they insisted on taking our luggage so we didn’t have to. The breakfasts were very good, especially the orange juice! We liked the roof terrace which has a lovely view over most of the medina in Fes, we also had breakfast there which was nice.
Cons: There was a bad drain or damp smell coming from the bathroom which meant we had to leave the window open most of the time in there and the bedroom and we were trying to keep the flies and mosquitoes out which we weren’t always able to do. We were told there were no mosquitos but I was bitten by one. We were given written information and verbally in person about the tour guides which was 300 MAD for 3 hours and 500 MAD all day. When we went to book it we were told the prices changed to 500 MAD for 3 hours and 800 MAD all day! When we said we were verbally told the lower price we were told they didn’t say that when they did. They apologised for not updating the written information and said it was a government policy that changed the price, but it was disappointing that the price suddenly changed. A dirty towel in the bathroom when we were shown to our room was changed and there weren’t enough hangers for two people but we were given another two when we requested them.

Nice service and confortable stay
Pros: It was very near to the important places of the Medina, very confortable rooms and nice common places. Workers are very kind with the clients helping as much as they could. Breakfast is also very good.
Cons: The roof of the room was a bit too low

Pros: Large spacious room. Great location in the medina - not deep inside but just enough to still be able to go beyond the walls. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Our stay was at the end of January, and so the rooms were cold, requiring heat in both the bedroom and the bathroom. I imagine in the summer the riad would be bright and the coolness would be very welcoming. We had booked the deluxe triple and the shower was very awkward

Quick stop in the old town
Pros: This Riad is beautiful, walking distance to market area and other attractions. The owner and the receptionist were extremely helpful and welcoming, offering us a great experience with them. We would definitely pick this place again in the future.
