Riad Safir

Pros: Lovely riad in the heart of the Meknes medina. Clean rooms, great atmosphere, and very kind hosts. We would happily come back!

Best place I’ve stayed in Morocco.

Pros: It’s beautiful, excellent location, clean. It’s a very special place. I’ve stayed in 4 star hotels in Morocco that weren’t as good as this Riad.

Cons: They announced parking but there is no parking. You have to use the municipality parking. Check-in was a tiny bit complicated.

Pros: Traditional Riad in the heart of the Medina, perfect to visit all interest points. The location is amazing, with beautful decorations both inside and outside the rooms. Really good breakfast! Parking is available at few minutes of walk. Special mention to the owners and the staff, really nice and kind people. They also made perfect service to repair my broken motorbike boots! Super recommended!

Amazing traditional Riad and helpful staff

Pros: The decoration of the Riad was amazing and the host was super helpful and attentive, as he waited for us to do the check in after the check in hours (until 23:30) and was very kind to us. The breakfast is usually served inside, but we asked to have breakfast in the terrace and they brought everything to us there. The breakfast had a good variety of foods, amazing quality and it had western food and tradicional dishes from Morocco as well.

Cons: The breakfast is not an open buffet but they bring you the plates to the table.

Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Helped me find safe parking nearby for a motorbike. Very nice Riad in a perfect location. Would stay again.

Pros: The host was very welcoming and helped us in many ways. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was also very generous.

Pros: Faboulous riad in the inner city of Meknès. We took a sunny and delicious breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view. Our room was very spatious, lovely decorated, we had been upgrated to a suite. The host was very kind and helped us with all our questions. We definitely recommend!

Pros: The Riad Safir is a very beautiful riad, and the roof terrace is amazing!! It's very authentic, and we can definitely recommend staying there. It's great value for money! It's located directly in the Medina, and all places of interest are within walking distance. You should try the hammam and massage that they offer - it's really nice! :)

Cons: Breakfast was good and a lot of different things to choose. But we missed the fresh orange juice that we got at all other hotels for breakfast. The room was as shown on the pictures. So nothing to complain about. You just have to be aware that there is no door to the bathroom but just a curtain and that there is no real window in the room (except one very small window high above that cannot be opened).

Perfect, beautiful & authentic Riad. Loved it!!

Pros: I just loved everything about this Riad. First of all : the staff is very kind, helpfull and communicative. I adored my room, clean, cosy, beautiful and typical Moroccan style. Breakfast on the rooftop was a joy. This Riad exceeded my expectations. Thanks a lot to everyone at Riad 'Safir'.

Cons: There was nothing not to like. Everything was perfect 👌 . I hope I'll have the opportunity to visit again!
