Riad Dar Fadma

Very good

Pros: Very good Riad for the price, good marrocain breakfast and very nice people there.

Pros: We felt very warmly welcomed by the nice family, who runs the homestay-like guesthouse. The son of the owner (Ayman) could speak English and French well, was very open to communicate and answered all questions, that we had. The rooms are big as well as clean and the guesthouse offers a large rooftop with a beautiful view. The two big public areas (one on each floor) are beautifully decorated, as known from historical riads.

Cons: I found the rooms a bit cold, but we traveled in winter. So, one should expect that. The wifi was reliable, but unfortunately not working on the 3rd floor. Fadma's place is a bit outside of the city center, but you can easily reach it by taking a local bus (no. 2 or 4) from the bus terminal of Ouarzazate for 4 DH or a shared taxi for 5 DH from the same place.

Pros: The Riad inside is very beautiful and the hosts are very welcoming! We had a great stay and would definitely come back!

Excellent value for money

Pros: Staff at Riad Dar Fadma were excellent - very helpful and supportive. The riad is simple but comfortable. We had the two roof rooms, with immediate access to the roof area including sofas. These were very welcome for evening relaxation. The food was great - home-cooked traditional Moroccan breakfast and dinner (dinner was keenly priced, and more than we could eat!)

Cons: The riad is located among some crumbling and half-built buildings in a village a few miles south of Ouarzazarte, which was not a problem, but future guests might like to know.

Wonderful hospitality and kindness

Pros: Both Fadma and her son gave us perfect attention. They were incredibly kind and caring, and made our stay truly pleasant. Thank you for your hospitality, your warmth, and your friendliness — we really felt at home.

Lovely Stay- highly recommended!

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Riad Dar Fadma. Ali and Fadma welcomed us with tea in the evening. We had our own bathroom and everything was clean and tidy. We also tried Fadma's Tajine. We really recommend to have dinner at Fadma's it was delicious and better than the Tajines we've eaten in Marrakesh.

Pros: Great stay. Very friendly host. The location is a 20-minute walk from the city center. We were welcomed with tea and cookies.

Pros: Give that man a raise. He really helps you to enjoy your stay, knows all the places and serves great food

Traditional riad with a familiar atmosphere, exceptional hospitality, recommended!

Pros: We enjoyed the warm hospitality of Fadma and her 2 sons, all the family was very nice and helpful. It is recommended with children. The riad has a pleasant and traditional atmosphere. The food was great. The other guests were considerate and quiet. The price/value ratio was good!

Cons: The surroundings aren't exceptional, the riad is not very easy to find. There are lots of buildings under construction, but the area is safe. the dinner was very good but did cost a bit more than expected. the bathroom had no door but a curtain.
