Pros: Very friendly staff and lovely terrace to eat on. Good breakfast and dinner. Amina, Mohammad and team are all very lovely people. A great place which I would recommend.

Cons: These are small minor criticisms. Hard to find... needs clearer written directions from property on how to find from main Teghira drag as we got lost relying on google maps as showed you where the property is in the centre of the block but not how to walk into it? So makes it look like it's accessible from the Fes riad side which it isn't. Easy to fix. More kitchen facilities and clearer communication on breakfast and dining arrangements would be good and quoting properly for the dinner on the first evening if you are arriving from afar ... We thought we were just getting soup and got a full meal! And while unlike other reviews I wasn't worried by the glass floor to the mezzanine I don't think it adds much either and I would put some rugs over it?

Pros: Staff was female and very friendly - once I made it to the riad and closed the door behinf me it made me feel safe as a solo female traveller.

Cons: The riad is in the very end of winding narrow dead end street - a bit scary for a solo female traveler when someone starts to follow you as you have nowhere to run. But basically all the Fes medina is one big labyrinth with those dead end streets and a lot of guys who tend to harrass you (verbally).

Great place to stay in Fez

Pros: Beautiful terrace nice rooms nice staff very calm n quiet

Pros: Staying at Amina’s place was a true pleasure. It felt like a little peaceful island in the middle of the busy medina of Fes. After long walks around the city, it was such a relief to come “home” — because Dar Anne really felt like home. We were welcomed with the best homemade dinners and an amazing view over the city. Breakfasts were also always delicious. I highly recommend this place!

Cons: Everything was perfect

Pros: Thank you very much for your hospitality! The beautiful room, spotlessly clean and comfortable, the wonderful breakfasts on the terrace and the kindness of the staff, all made our trip to Fes special.

Clean place, reasonably priced

Pros: Great location close to Bab Boujloud with an epic terrace. Friendly people and amazing breakfast.

Excellent location and very helpful host

Pros: The location was excellent and walking distance to many sights. The staff and host were amazing and very accommodating and helpful with our baby.

Cons: The Terrasse area could be a little nicer but maybe because it’s winter they don’t use it much and it’s better in summer

Pros: It’s located in one of the alleys of the medina, away from noise. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom was great. Staff was very friendly. My travel companion is allergic to gluten, and she got a special breakfast

Cons: Not the property’s fault, but the alley constantly smell of cat’s piss due to stray cats

Highly recommended - Great staff / location

Pros: Alina and her staff were lovely. Very welcoming and helped us with practical organisation / trips etc throughout. Made our visit very special. Very quiet and great location. Great place. Would highly recommend - traditional meal in Dar was best meal we had in Fes.

Cons: No complaints at all but for us a stool/ chair in the room would have been nice.
