Incredible service and the perfect base for tours from Fes!

Pros: The location is excellent! Just a short walk from the Blue Gate (Bab Bou Jeloud), which was perfect for us as our tour meeting points were all located there. Navigating the Medina for the first time can be tricky, but Mohamed was incredibly helpful and met us at the Blue Gate upon arrival to guide us to the Riad. We also really appreciated the staff’s flexibility; since we had early tours, they prepared \

Cons: There were just a few minor things that could be improved. Because our room was on the ground floor, there was a slight smell from the bathroom drain; we kept the window open to help clear it out. Additionally, the showerhead was positioned very high and was difficult for one of us to reach. We also noticed quite a bit of dust on the bedside tables, which was a little unpleasant, and the Wi-Fi was quite weak on one side of the room, particularly around the bed. Despite these small points, the hospitality and location were fantastic, and we would stay here again!

Pros: Very worth the rate. Excellent location—just a few minutes’ walk to the Blue Gate. The staff are all very helpful, and the room is very clean. They were kind enough to pick me up to go to the raid through the rainy night, so I didn’t need to find it by myself. This morning, when I left early, they also packed breakfast for me. I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend it.

A lovely place to reside in fez medina

Pros: A lovely place in medina fez, 8 mins walk away from the Blue gate . Very accessible and in walking distance to all other heritage sites. Good places to have lunch and dinner nearby. Comfortable and quiet place, clean, staff attended promptly to the needs. Lovely breakfast served every morning. Mohammed is an excellent young manager who was very very helpful and an inspiring young man. The ladies who cleaned and served breakfast were exceptionally nice. I guess the staff of the place is its strength.

Cons: I guess WiFi not great in the room, as is the case in other Riads in medina but good coverage in the foyer. I think if the extractor fan of the toilet/ shower room worked, then the humidity/ stuffiness could have been managed well.

Pros: A very quiet and clean place, right in the market inside the Blue Gate, the location is very convenient, the room has a private bathroom, a hair dryer, and air conditioning. The terrace is very suitable for chatting, and blowing the wind, I love the wind and the view on the terrace. Although the route is a bit roundabout, the owner of the riad will guide you in through the blue door so don't worry. Near by the riad there a mini store where you can water and snacks which helps a lot for the walking tour in city. It was a great stay. There are beautiful mosaic decorations inside the building.

Moroccan hospitality at its best!

Pros: Greeted with tea and biscuits, we immediately warmed to our hosts’ Moroccan hospitality. We loved our lovely room and quaint bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and very delicious, with Moroccan omelette, fruit, bread, juice and coffee. A great start to an early morning departure.

Cons: Mattress needs attention and the room had been cleaned with a very strong smelling disinfectant.

Pros: -well located! -excellent breakfast -Mohamed was extremely welcoming and very helpful, he come to pick us up at the blue door, he even booked the train tickets for us, and arrange a very nice hamman! -the hotel hasn’t got any indication outside of the door so is imposible to find it by yourself -we made the mistake of not booking a guide and in Fes is imposible without it! Please DO book a guide! Is a must in Fes! -be aware from train station to hotel by taxi is Max 20DH -unfortunately the room had a very estrange and strong smell so we needed to change room, which Mohamed accommodated us in the new room without any problems! -it hasn’t got a iron to use!
