If we come to Fès again, we will definitely stay at Zaria’s riad again!
Pros: The house is beautiful and very well located, the host is wonderful, caring and helping. We are very appreciated to Zarha!

Excellent location but for us a bit lacking of a true Maroccan feel
Pros: The riad is very well located, easy to get to and find, rooms were very clean and owner was friendly and responsive. There is also a nice terrace with a good view.
Cons: There was no electric kettle in the room and no one available to order drinks with. There is no other service than a simple breakfast however a small fridge for quests is provided on the first floor landing. Also no water was provided in the rooms. Dinning room is very small and tables are located next to entrance to a guest’s room. The breakfast was not the same as some we experienced in other riads in Marocco, a bit limited and coffee wasn’t very good. The owner a French lady is very friendly and helpful however we had the feeling that we are in her private house, rather than feeling great Maroccan hospitality we experienced in other places in Marocco. Decor in our room was very simple.

A fantastic stay in the heart of Fes
Pros: We had a great time staying at Zaha's Riad. The first thing that struck us was her beautiful and simple decoration and very clean private and public facilities. Zaha herself made the stay more enjoyable as she was always in a good mood and helped us whenever we requested. She helped us arrange parking nearby for 40 MAD per day. The bedroom was comfortable, with clean and nice sheets and good air conditioning. The bathroom was excellent, with a sturdy sink and a shower with strong water pressure and changeable temperature. There were nice toiletries and shower products available in the bathroom. The breakfast was very nice, served by the hostess, including breads, jams, juices, yoghurt, honey, coffee and eggs. We used the laundry service and our clothes were very well treated and delivered to our room. I enjoyed staying on the terrace as well, where we could see the roofs of other places and have a peaceful end of day after walking around Fes.
Cons: The room was a bit small and we would have liked to have a dedicated space for our luggage. Arriving at the Riad can be challenging, but the hostess will help.

Pros: It's a women run place..women empowerment I'd say. Very tastful interiors,neat n clean. Breakfast was sufficient. Room n bathrooms were very good.location was v near to the Blue Gate. Most of d sightseeing places r just walking distance from this place. It's quiet at night.Many shops ,restos and convience stores around. Taxi from fes station to blue gate is 20-25Md. Beds were comfortable. Ms Zahra - the owner goes out of her way to keep her guests happy and comfortable. Cheers!!
Cons: We liked everything. This place has rooms on d ground floor and 1st floor.So ,u have a choice of preferences. Bathrooms don't have bidets for washing urself..but,that's d case everywhere in morocco..Quite surprised as this is an Islamic country.

Séjour très agréable à Fès dans un Dar Exceptionnel au cœur de la Médina
Pros: Situation idéale pour visiter la Médina et proche aussi de la ville nouvelle. Chambre calme, confortable et très propre. Pdj fait maison de qualité et soigné. Merci à Zahra pour son accueil, son extrême gentillesse et ses conseils avisés (visites, restaurants, services : transfert aéroport efficace et fiable avec Hassan …).

Gastvrijheid in de Medina van Fès
Pros: We hadden een prachtig verblijf in deze dar midden in de medina van Fes. De accommodatie zelf is mooi, rustig en schoon. Wat ons verblijf echt bijzonder maakte, was de host. Ze is ongelooflijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam: ze gaf ons allerlei tips over wat te bezoeken, waar te eten en hielp met het regelen van taxi’s en excursies. Je voelt je meteen welkom en op je gemak.
