Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, comfortable and well heated, and the breakfast (especially the coffee) was delicious! The location was also very central.

Beautiful building, would go back!

Pros: The building was beautiful, it’s absolutely huge and incredibly ornate, the pictures simply don’t do it justice. The location was ideal, in the medina but in a tranquil corner that’s not too hard to reach by taxi. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, and they put on a good celebration for new year’s eve.

Cons: The food was nice, but it seemed a shame that it wasn’t moroccan food. In such a traditional building I would have liked a tagine, rather than pasta! I also think some moroccan music would have been nice

Nice and quiet Dar at Fez

Pros: Staff were very responsive. Redouane was very responsive when reaching out via WA to arrange porter. Hicham was very nice, helpful when we asked for help and directions. Big shout to him! Food (Dinner) was very good. We had dinner there 2 nights in a row. Room was very spacious.

Cons: Location a bit far from the center of Madina, a bit hard to get food. Room was quite old, the sink was stuck, hot water came and goes, very weak water shower. We had to drag the big luggages by ourselves, because no one was there when we checked out at 9.30 am.

The most interesting experience we ever had. From the medina's narrow alleys to a luxury riad.

Pros: Great hotel, beautiful room, very comfortable bed, amazing breakfast. It's very interesting, because you are in the middle of the medina, that is very poor, and suddenly the riad's door opens and you are in a palace. The only strange thing is that the bathroom is is a second floor, so you have to use the stairs (that was not a problem for us), and it is open, without doors.

Cons: the open bathroom.

Fabulous, relaxing break at Dar Roumana!

Pros: Everything! Dar Roumana is absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious, the ambience was peaceful and beautifully traditional, and the staff were fabulous. The Riad is also situated in a perfect spot. Would highly recommend!
