Riad Fès Center

Pros: Khalid and Hassan have been great hosts! Historical structure and calm patio are great for a quiet time out of the hustle of the Medina Position is convenient since it is close to Medina buzz and main attractions, but also 5 mins to the external gate where taxis can arrive

Cons: Caring some small details and finishing in the room and bathroom will bring this riad to the next level up

Pros: The location was perfect and the staff was very kind! We really enjoyed the breakfast.

Pros: Khalid the owner is very helpful and very knowledgeable. Nothing to too much trouble!

Amazing views from the terrace

Pros: The room was beautifully decorated, and the host was great! Very approachable and friendly. The views from the terrace were amazing! We had dinner in the riad and it was exceptionally good. A bit pricey, but well worth the price.

Cons: The bathroom door didn't close properly. We also didn't receive breakfast due to early check-out, despite the host saying he would have given us a take away box.

Pros: Khalid was an amazing host, the perfect introduction for us to Marocco. Riad was gorgeous, easy to get to from the parking spot and a nice escape from the hectic medina. We could contact him at any time, also during the days following, which is an amazing bonus. Airconditioning was nice, we got lost 2 times while trying to find the place but was not at all Khalid's fault, the signs make it a lot easier. We could check out whenever we wanted, which was superb.

Cons: We got lost twice while trying to get to the riad when coming from the center of the medina, so more signs (if possible of course) from that direction would have been helpful :)

Pros: Beautiful Riad, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, and delicious breakfast.

Cons: The medina was more intense than we expected, however if you want to be in the medina, this location is ideal.

Wonderful experience

Pros: Wonderful experience with a very kind and available guest! Khalid was just perfect before our arrival until the end of our journey! About the riadh, simple and luxurious in the same time. You feel the history of the place from the decorations and the architecture. As you feel like home you really feel the spirit of the place. Perfectly located in the médina it allows you to enjoy the energy of the medina and also quick exit to the excursions around Fès. One single regret, why our stay wasn't longer!

Nice riad, bad location for tourists

Pros: - comfortable bed - beautiful decorations and design - big room - friendly staff (our receptionist - Yorri was very nice) - nice authentic atmosphere - good breakfast - hot water and good water pressure

Cons: - unfortunately the location isn’t tourist friendly (it’s more of a local people place and they were staring at my girlfriend and shouting things - even though she had a long dress and shirt so she was dressed modestly); you can’t really walk on the streets in the evening. I would definitely not recommend it to solo women travelers or even couples. There was also a lot of garbage on the streets and bad smell - the room needs a bit of a renovation especially in the bathroom - there are exposed wires right above the shower (there is no lamp just a light bulb hanging); the water was leaking non stop from our toilet (we had to always close the water valve after flushing)
