Fantastic stay, the Riad took you back in time and is an authentic Moroccan Riad - ideally situated

Pros: The breakfast was superb and really tasty, the location was really good near too many attractions

Cons: There is nothing that can be done here so this shouldn't be viewed as a negative just an awareness - the stairs are quite steep (as are most Riads) for any elderly person in my case my mother however the staff where very accommodating and gave us a room on the lower floor

Pros: The riad was incredibly clean and beautiful. As soon as we arrived in the city, our suitcases were collected for us and taken straight to our rooms. We were welcomed with tea and sweet and savoury snacks, along with our very warm and friendly host, Hamza, who went above and beyond to help us with everything — including booking our Merzouga trip. Dinner at the riad was amazing too, with a beautiful spread on the terrace. We were leaving early the next morning and Hamza arranged everything for us: a late-night tea, an early breakfast, and all our transport. Truly exceptional hospitality. Will be visiting again soon inshallah.

Cons: Nothing everything was top tier.

Pros: Beautifully renovated and decorated riad, situated at a very convenient spot inside the Medina but still less than 3 min walk from the parking area that gives you access to all the main roads of Fez. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel at home away from home, something that allowed us to relax, especially on the rooftop, which has a wonderful view of the town and the surrounding areas. Breakfast was generous, with a variety of local products, and there was the possibility of eating in the accommodation and enjoying very tasteful traditional Moroccan dishes. Special thanks to Dina, Hamza, and Najim. We enjoyed their company a lot as well as their warm hospitality, and we would be happy to visit them again sometime.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mitten in der Medina

Pros: Das in einer sehr engen verwinkelten Gasse gelegene Riad wird von super netten Hosts geleitet (Hamza, Mohad, Entschuldigung wenn die Schreibweise nicht stimmt :) ). Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das umfangreiche Abendessen können wir empfehlen, die Preise sind allerdings etwas höher als im Rest von Marokko (trifft aber auf ganz Fes zu). Das Riad ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet und dekoriert, von der Dachterasse hat man einen schönen Blick über die Dächer von Fes. Über das Riad haben wir eine ausgezeichnete Stadttour vermittelt bekommen. Die Heizung hat ausgezeichnet funktioniert. Kleiner Hinweis am Rande: Um das Riad zu finden, folgt man am besten dem Weg mit dem bunten Boden, welcher aber teilweise wirklich sehr eng ist. Für uns ein Pluspunkt was den Charme angeht, Gäste mit etwas größerem Umfang könnten aber tatsächlich Probleme haben, das Riad zu erreichen. Auperdem ist die Treppe im Riad sehr steil, für ätere Personen könnte der Aufenthalt also schwierig sein.

Cons: Leider war das Bad unseres Zimmers bei der Ankunft nicht ganz sauber und es gab einen unangenehmen Geruch welchen wir teilweise den Duftstäbchen zuordnen konnten. Der Geruch hat sich allerdings nach dem Lüften und dem Entfernen der Stäbchen schnell gebessert. Potentiell war das Problem mit der Sauberkeit aber eher ein Einzelfall, da gefühlt auch mehrere Leute während unserem Aufenthalt das Zimmer für die Toilette des Restaurants gehalten haben. Hamza hat uns direkt ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, dies hielten wir aber nicht für nötig. Außerrdem gab es wenig Möglichkeiten Handtücher o.Ä. zum trockenen aufzuhängen.

Pros: Nous avons trop aimé l'emplacement qui etait prés de la Zaoua Sidi Ahmet Tidjini, le logement est trop sympa, propre et acceuillant.

Cons: Les petits dejeunés peuvent etre encore amelioré car trop simple pour le prix.

Pros: I had an amazing stay at Riad Qobbat Zaouïa. The riad is beautiful peaceful, clean, and full of authentic Moroccan charm. The rooms were comfortable and thoughtfully decorated, and I loved how quiet and relaxing the atmosphere was after a long day exploring. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, especially Hamza, always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the hospitality truly made the experience feel personal. Overall, this riad exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, welcoming place with real Moroccan character.
