100/10 experience in Fes

Pros: The combination of being in Fes - which is already a magical experience and staying at Riad Dar Kassim sent my already awesome trip into the stratosphere. What a gem! The property is so authentic and beautiful. I absolutely loved my stay at this Riad. I can't say enough great things about the staff - I felt welcomed and well taken care of, less of a guest and more like a visiting family friend. Its impossible to overstate how comfortable and safe I felt as a solo female traveller. My only regret is not staying longer.

Pros: A very kind guy met us, checked us in quickly, and explained everything. The terrace has a nice view, and breakfast was quite good.

Cons: On the downside: there was a damp smell in the room since there are almost no windows, and there was a lot of mold in the bathroom. The room cleaning could be better. The way to the hotel goes through an unsafe area with a lot of trash around.

You must go here; is great.

Pros: The place is a the edge of the medina. You have to walk through the narrow streets for about 50 meters from parking to hotel. You have to call them or ask any person nearby, because you will never find it. Hotel is a surprise, beautiful decoration, super nice staff, room is nice with enough space for the motorbike gear. People in area are friendly and it is very safe, lots of good restaurants nearby, serving drinks.. Perfect spot for visiting Fez. But you have to be OK with all the walking.

Excellent hotel and hosts!

Pros: Location was excellent. Edge of the medina and easily accessible. Close to a safe and secure parking lot if you're driving in. Our hosts, Mahmood and Sarah were extremely helpful! They were on hand to help us find the hotel when we first arrived and guided us through the bazaar looking for a specific item and always ready to answer all our questions. Rooms were clean and done up well, and breakfast was simple but wholesome.

Cons: Unfortunately payment is only via cash but again the hosts are very accommodating and kind.

Pros: Our stay here was fantastic. The riad itself is stunning inside with a lovely rooftop area looking over the old town. Mahmoud and the other staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. We were travelling by bicycle and we could store our bikes inside the riad which was brilliant. Highly recommend a stay here and if we ever come back to Fes we would definitely stay here again.

Apart from the toilets it was outstanding!

Pros: Mehmoud was exceptional, he went out of his way quite a few times to help us find places and even gave us early breakfast the day we were leaving. The riad is a 15-20 walk from the main tourist attractions

Cons: The toilets smelt, could be cleaner.

Great place with amazing host

Pros: The place was super super beautiful, we had an amazing stay. The host was really friendly and he took us to eat at the restaurant when we arrived late at night. Would totally recommend!!

Cons: The toilet was dirty, it could have been cleaned better, however other than that everything was amazing.
