DARIF's Riad & Spa

Pros: We had an amazing stay in Fes. The riad is absolutely beautiful, with traditional Moroccan decoration and a very peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the Medina. We truly felt at home and would definitely come back!

Service on point !

Pros: The hospitality was on point ! I personally liked the cleanness of the room and common spaces, the food was amazing and the view near the pool was soothing during the night. Shoutout to Youssef who was friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay.

Pros: Very pleasant stay overall. The hotel is well located, clean, and the service is great. A small improvement in breakfast variety would make the experience even better. Still, we would happily return.

We had a wonderfull stay nice riad

Pros: We had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean, comfortable, and well located. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was quiet, the bed very comfortable, and everything was well organized. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. We will definitely come back!

Another lovely stay in a charming Riad

Pros: It was our second stay in this Riad. It felt like coming home. Staff is attentive. We had a seemingly even better room this time (from the look), however, there was a problem with heating and it was very cold during the night. Also WiFi didn’t work in the room, but within the hotel it was fine. Breakfast got better - we had more options than the 1st stay.

Beautiful Riad close to Medina gates

Pros: The hotel manager was very helpful, sending us instructions on arrival, making sure we had a comfy room, arranging a very good guide for the Medina walk. The Riad is very beautiful; there is a lovely view from rooftop; one can book a hammam; it’s also quite large as there are two houses joint together. We received a room upgrade which was nice; the room had very high ceiling.

Cons: There is a confusion about twin room booking. We booked a twin standard room and upon arrival were told that it’s not possible to make a twin in a standard room as it’s too small. There were luckily other rooms available but in high season this can be a problem.

Really great home base for exploring Fes!

Pros: From the moment we arrived, the staff here was really warm, welcoming, and so very helpful. We were able to book a private driver for a day trip to Volubilis through the front desk, which was terrific, and they were great at helping us find particular stores in the area to find some very specific items we were looking for. The rooms were clean and comfy and the breakfast every morning was very plentiful and great :) I have to thank the team, especially, for helping out in arranging for tea / light foods to bring up to the room when my husband wasn't feeling very well one day. And the location, also, was great for being in a quiet spot that was just a short walk into the heart of the medina. A bit tricky to find when you arrive, if you're dropped off at the nearby gates, but once you get your bearings, it's all well-signposted.

Cons: The only suggestion I left for the team was to explore getting a wifi signal booster to help with reception in the upper rooms. Might also want to note that the front desk isn't always staffed, so it's a good idea to get a contact number (ie. for WhatsApp) where you can reach a team member if you have a pressing question!
