Beautiful Ryad

Pros: Typical adoring Ryad, with a nice garden, beautiful interior with lots of rest areas both in and outside. Nice and clean swimming pool. Two lovely cats roam the grounds. Breakfast was good and extensive. Friendly host. For the first time In Morocco I encountered a mattress that was actually of a normal softness which I could appreciate a lot. Big shopping centre nearby which makes it easy to get some groceries quickly if necessary.

Cons: The location is in a derelict building project neighbourhood with lots of empty lots filled with trash, construction noises, potholes in the roads everywhere. It's 100m from the mosque with very loud prayer announcements. Room only had very light see-through curtains, no option to darken the room completely. A/C was *very* noisy especially the outside unit. No bedside lamps (there was a working but clinically-white light in a niche, not at the bed, the other side had two switches both controlling the ceiling light!). The bathroom looked nice but there was a cleaning cloth for a bathmat and rubber tiles at the sink for unclear reasons, also an outdated small and fixed shower head. Wifi didn't work at the swimming pool.

Pros: The house is located in in a village next to Meknes in a very good neighborhood. Wonderful garden with swimming pool, quiet area and great breakfast. Also the diner with Kefta tasted great and the personel was friendly and helpful. Meknes has great Art gallery organized by a good cooperation in order to get the best our of the Artist. This is situated next to the Mosuleum in Meknes which is easy to find.

Cons: The location could be better as especially in the evening it is very dark and at the end there was no road because the areas is nog finished yet, think in 3 years from now the road will be better.... hopefully.

Cons: La quartier est une catastrophe, c’est une poubelle à ciel ouvert, ce qui est dommage car quand on arrive on se demande ce que l’on vient faire dans un tas de détritus….
