Lovely kind hosts and relaxing stay in Meknes

Pros: Lovely staff, great breakkie. Cozy room and nice shower! The pool was also a plus on the hot day we arrived.

Cons: Quite loud at night due to other guests and proximity to main foyer. Light coming into room - recommend maybe adding some thick curtains to the downstairs rooms so the guests can sleep in while others have breakfast.

Great r iad at affordable price in the heart of Meknés

Pros: Beautiful palace just at the entrance of the medina of Meknés, a very practical solution to visit the city, with a big parking a few minutes away. Most services were working good and the breakfast was also nice.

Cons: Only issue is that in winter the room can get quite cold and the heating system takes a few hours to warm it.

Beautiful traditional riad within the Meknes medina

Pros: This beautiful riad is within the medina and as such doesn’t have many external windows; however the rooms have plenty of lighting options and the central atrium is well lit. My ensuite had a small window for welcome ventilation. Breakfast is served beside the plunge pool; we visited in December so didn’t feel the need to cool off but I can imagine it would be very inviting in summer. The roof terrace, though it doesn’t have spectacular views, would be a nice place to relax in summer. The manager was really helpful and recommended some very good restaurants. He let us use the washing machine for free and even provided washing powder.

Pros: Perfect location, but quiet during the night. Nice staff. Very good value for money.

Cons: In my room, it smelled a bit of sewage before I flushed some water in the shower. After that everything was great.
