Hotel Riad Taounate

Pros: Friendly welcoming staff, parking for the motorcycle right out front. Clean rooms & hot showers. Restaurant & Cafe on site too. Area outside and up top of Hotel, seating & clean.

Cons: We came in the lower road, through the houses area, not off main road, there were no signs for the Hotel and the area doesnt represent the Hotel at all.

Great place!

Pros: I highly recommend this place, especially for motorcyclists. Great location on the way to Fez. Safe parking for the bike, and very friendly and helpful staff.

New, well maintained hotel with kind and welcoming staff

Pros: On arrival I was given a warm welcome from Mohamed Amine at reception. He came to my car to offer help with my luggage. Also Mohamed took me personally to my table for breakfast the next morning. The room was beautifully clean and towels were great quality with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Bottled water in the room with some complimentary nuts....nice touch. Parking at the door. Dinner at night was reasonably priced and the service was exceptional. Also heating through the silent aircon was perfect first thing in the morning. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Pleasant, secure & modern.

Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived on motorcycles and were able to park on the patio at the entrance. This is a modern hotel are very clean and tidy. Good quality tagine for evening meal.

Cons: Can not find a fault.

Pros: Very friendly and helpfull personel. We arrived late, but without any problem. Also we got one room plus for free(we booked one room for three persons). Rooms were clean and in amazing condition as whole hotel. Breakfast was also delicious!!!

A good place to stay in Taounate

Pros: The hotel is close to the main road before the climb up to the town proper. There was a little road noise from our room (7), but not enough to disturb. The parking is on a back road close to reception which is actually on a level below the cafe. We were able to park our 2 motorcycles right in front of reception. There is no elevator and rooms are 2 levels up so probably not ideal for those with mobility issues. The room was beautifully clean and a good size. The large bed was comfortable for us with plenty of pillows, though quite hard as is usual in Morocco. There was a large bottle of water and a selection of nuts, olives and dates in the room which is a lovely touch. We ate in the restaurant and had an excellent meal (pastilla). Breakfast is in the cafe and there is a choice of menus. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons: It’s unfortunate, but there was a bit of a smell from the bathroom. We could open the windows and it didn’t overwhelm at all but I’m not sure there’s an easy fix.

Pros: The property is great, new, very well placed and extremely clean. Food was perfect, staff is amazing .. definitely a must visit
