Super stay!
Pros: Ali is a great host, caring, helpful and funny in a very nice way. He will do everything to make your stay comfortable. Room/tent is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Hot water available at a request (my family of 4 people could take a nice hot shower). The heating (aircon with heating function) was working very well. We were in January, where temperature at night was only 2-3 degrees and we still could sleep in a warm tent. Beds were comfortable and duvets were big and warm and bed linen were clean. The food prepared by camp was delicious - great Berber omlette and Tagine. The camp itself is well arranged and pleasant. It is one of the closest to the dunes, maybe 15-20 minutes and you are close to the bigest dunes (we were walking alone there). If you need to rent a quad (which we did), Ali can help with everything. Overall a very nice stay! Dariusz (Poland) and a family.
Cons: All was fine, nothing to complain about.

The place to stay of going to a desert camp!
Pros: Im blown away, this was one of my favourite “hotel” experiences ever!! Will remember this experience forever! We booked this place considering it was the only one that clearly stated they would have a pick up to take us to camp, we where greeted as family, the tents are ultra luxury and it’s hard to believe we had this experience with dinner and breakfast included for this price! Will recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the desert!! Thank you!!!!!!
Cons: I loved every single thing!

Unique and incredible experience in the Sahara Desert
Pros: We had an incredible experience with stunning views of the sand dunes, engaging activities, and plenty of delicious food. We spent two nights at the camp, where we enjoyed a private 4x4 tour, camel riding at sunset, evening Berber music, and stargazing. The staff were very welcoming. We highly recommend booking the private 4x4 tour for a truly unique experience in the Sahara Desert.
Cons: Plenty of bugs—especially crickets—can easily find their way into the tents. Be ready to share your dinner with a few unexpected guests in the restaurant tent!

A GEM in the desert!! Choose this camp it is fantastic.
Pros: The staff here felt like they were friends after only one night. They were so friendly, talkative and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Our transfer was included in the price, the camp is away from Merzouga we passed many camps on the way, thankfully this location there is only one camp visible in the distance. Very remote location with stunning views of the dunes which are a few minutes walk away. The night sky was incredible. We were taken into the dunes to sandboard in the evening which was so much fun and a great photo opportunity. The evening meal and breakfast was delicious. In the morning we chose to pay for a camel tour setting off at 5am to watch the sunset - this is a must!! We were blown away by the value for money here. We had low expectations after reading blogs about how staying in the desert had been tainted by over tourism but in fact this is one of the best travel experiences we have had to date!
Cons: Not a negative just to note - There was a mix up about requiring a vegetarian meal so the cook prepared me an alternative meal which was really appreciated. If you have dietary needs make sure to mention it on what's app chat after booking rather than in the booking notes.

Spectacular
Pros: Don't be confused by other camp locations on Booking's map, there are no camps allowed in the sand dunes anymore. You can either stay in Merzouga (good for sunrise photos) or on the eastern side of the dunes (for sunset). What makes Amskou special: - relatively quiet due to its location away from the camps further south and their pesky quads - only 10 tents, large und super comfortable - great food - easygoing staff - mercifully short evening music entertainment - 4x4 transfer included We had a camel ride to get into the dunes before sunset (30 mins one way), some guests accompanied the trek on foot. Sunset on a 150m high dune is spectacular. We even got up early to walk there again for sunrise. And oh, don't forget to take a look at the night sky.

So nice experience…big thank you…😊
Pros: So nice experience. Count it is a bit higher price than rest of camps in this area but its better design…transfer included and no hiden costs. Bed was so comfortable…amazing for the camp. Dinner is made from farm products…its local “Tajine”, one vegetable Tajine and one chicken Tajine. And yes…staff is perfect…do their best to welcome us.
Cons: Think its a first time we can leave this comment but Nothing to complaint about…😊
