Good option in fez medina

Pros: Good location although a bit tricky to find.they offer to take you there so it's fine. It is right next to medina's main street. Breakfast was great and the lady serving it was very nice to us

Cons: Only thing would be the stairs as you come out of the bathroom look quite dangerous,you need to mind your step

A lovely place to stay in Fez

Pros: Dar Bhija was beautiful and had the most lovely staff. The received is with a warm welcome and some delicious tea. They were always keen to help out with anything you need. You can book a taxi to or from the airport for 22€ and they even let us leave our bags there for the last day. The breakfast was good, you get yogurt, bread, eggs,cheese, jam and coffee or tea. One of the mornings we had an early tour and they kindly prepared a bag for us to take with us. The room we stayed in was very nice, it had two single beds and air conditioning (which was lovely because it was so hot). We had a shared bathroom that was very clean. I recommend this accommodation to anyone who would like to stay in Fez for a few nights and feel the hospitality of Moroccan people.

Beautiful Riad and nice people

Pros: Liked: Excellent location, very friendly people, amazing food and pretty Riad. Disliked: Difficult to access the bathroom as it was located on stairs

Pros: It was really close to the old city. The housekeeping was really sweet ☺️ nice breakfast and there was good communication

Stay here!

Pros: Ahhmed is a very attentive host who communicates promptly and well. We were glad we arranged through Ahmed for a driver from the airport to Dar Bhija and after another driver to the train station. The medina is quite a maze, but it helps to have help to get somewhere on time. Ahmed made the time to greet us at the Dar and spent time helping to get acquainted to Fes. Breakfast is good and sufficient. Nice to have a boiled egg.

Cons: The pillows!

Pros: The room was clean and comfy. The hotel is also really quite even though it’s near the main walking street. The owner was very nice and knowledgeable, everyone was very helpful!

Pros: Friendly owner / host, who is always in for a chat. Very tasty breakfast in the mornings. Rooms are rather spacious and cosy. Clean bathroom and surroundings. Nice rooftop area overviewing part of the old town.

Cons: Be aware that 24 hours reception is not really 24 hours operational: However, the owner is very responsive on Whatsapp, whenever you would need something...

Pros: Perfectly situated within a minutes walk into the centre of the medina while enabling you to enjoy the experience of living within the medina itself without being bothered by excessive noise. Beautifully decorated and furnished with a huge comfortable bed, access to the kitchen to store a few things in the fridge, great terrace with fantastic views of the Marinid tombs. Ahmed could not have been a better host and the staff delightful and helpful. I couldn't recommend the breakfast more. If you have any doubts about booking this riad then don't have second thoughts, exceptional price for the service we received. We couldn't have felt more at home. Pros: The property was very clean and close to all essential shop, restaurants in the old medina. Ahmed was really god and professional. He helped us on our stay.
