A perfect place to experience Fes

Pros: We had a truly wonderful stay in Fes, and a big part of that was thanks to Kenza. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. She was attentive, thoughtful, and always available to answer our questions. Communication was effortless throughout our stay, and we always felt well looked after. The place itself is fantastic, especially the rooftop terrace with its stunning views over Fes. It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the atmosphere of the city. The location could not have been better – easy to find and right by the main street in the medina, which made it very convenient to explore. There is also a nearby viewpoint just a short walk away, where you can watch the sunset over the city. The breakfasts were delicious, with fresh bread, eggs, pancakes, and coffee or tea – a great way to start the day. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fes.

A great luxury stay

Pros: Beautifully decorated. Great rooftop area. Our room was cozy. Beds were very comfortable. In room heating/cooling. Shower was good with lots of hot water. Breakfast was abundant & delicious. Staff were very kind & helpful. Located near main street of medina yet very quiet.

Cons: Typical of many riads the rooms didt get much light. No seperation of bathroom from bedrooms, so little privacy. Small details only.

Perfect for a couple of days in Fes!

Pros: This was in such an excellent location, only minutes from many nice restaurants and easy to see all the best parts of Fes. We also found navigating back really easy (even at night) which is important here! The hosts were so friendly and even made us up a to-go breakfast when we had to leave early for a train. If you’re getting a taxi/train very early like we were you have to walk to the Blue Gate but this is only 10 mins away and was quiet and safe (we did it at 5am).

Cons: Our only issue is that the towels and room were a bit damp/cold but that also might just be that we visited during a lot of rain in the winter.

Fez is amazing on its own. Kenza made it even better.

Pros: It starts with the staff. It always does. Kenza was amazing. She was warm and welcoming. She was always pleasant and met all of our needs, including providing directions in a complicated medina. Nonetheless, we still managed to get lost, but that was on us. Eventually, we got the lay of the land and felt at home. We were on the first floor--bonus. We had a large room with a private bath. Breakfast was ready whenever you wanted it, and it was consist and consistently good.

Cons: Not applicable. Solid all around.

Kenza was a wonderful hostess, the mint tea was the best we had and she gave us great directions and recommendations for

Pros: Wonderful traditional Riad within the Medina, Kenza met our taxi to guide us to the Riad, as it is based in a small side street in the medina.

Fabulous Riad In Heart of Town

Pros: Wonderful rooftop garden, great host, very convenient location in centre of town. Public car park is 5 mins walk away, costs D40 per night and a porter was waiting to carry our luggage to the Riad.

We were very pleased.

Pros: The service was wonderful. The manager, Kenza, was very helpful in every way. She even got up at 2:30 a.m. on the day of our departure to bring us coffee and make sure the taxi driver was there to pick us up. The riad is beautiful inside. It has a terrace with a beautiful view and even sun loungers. The air conditioners are quiet and of good quality. Wi-Fi allows you to watch streaming movies without any problems.

Cons: Our bathroom was very low. People over 170 cm had to walk and take a shower with a hunched back. Sometimes there's an odor in the room. It seems to be coming from the outside sewage system. Closing the window helps.

Pros: The location was perfect and the staff were extremely helpful. We loved the terrace with great views of the madina and surrounding city. Would recomend this riad to anyone waiting a small authentic experience.

Cons: The only thing i could suggest was that complimentary boiled water be available in the rooms daily because of the heat. We did ask for boiled water and the lady couldn't have been more helpful.

Fantastic staff, tucked away down a charming alley

Pros: The service was impeccable. Kenza went above and beyond to ensure our stay was relaxing. She was always on hand to answer any questions and always greeted us with smiles and kind words. The rooms were traditional with amazing air conditioning.

Cons: I found the prices in Fez to be on the higher side, and I don’t feel the experience fully lived up to the cost when compared with some of the more affordable riads elsewhere in Morocco. That being said it was quiet and located off the beaten track.
